No offense to the seller because I know its not Hanes directly, but these socks are awful. I purposely ordered the exact same socks as I did less than a year ago. They are not the same. The biggest factor in my ordering based on the description? Little or no seam in the toe. Most definitely not the case. I can make another entire sock out of the seams in just one pair. So disappointed and now I'm stuck with them. Won't wear them, but stuck with them. Waste of money, sorry to say. :(

These socks are just as described. I buy these same socks over and over every couple of years for 8 years.I donât agree with the other reviewer that said they changed. I always buy socks that are mostly made up of cotton because that helps your feet not smell as bad as the polyester based socks. As you can see in the pictures, the seams fall exactly where they need too. I think if your are a size 11 wide or 12 these will not be big enough after they are washed and dried. Otherwise, great socks and I will continue to buy this brand!

These are as advertised but I am unhappy to learn that there is a fairly thick seam across the toe. If your feet/toes are sensitive at all better look elsewhere.

I like these socks. I bought them to wear around the house, and they are nice and thick. They're perfect for that, and I'm sure they would be great with tennis shoes, too. After reading the other reviews that said they ran small, I ordered the larger size. I wear a size 8M shoe, and ordered the size 10-12. Normally I would have ordered size 9-11. The 10-12 fit perfectly. I think a smaller size would have been too small.
Inaccurate stated cotton content

I have been buying my sock from this company for a few years now. This last time, the cotton content says one thing on the website, than another when you get them. Cotton is more expensive, so they put less in your sock. They need to update the Amazon website with the truth. They are also very tight at the top of the sock. It will definitely leave a mark. These socks are not like the ones I had before, and before that...will not use this company again. Also, bought some Hanes underwear with this order, and those too were smaller in size. Not the same, losing much trust...

This review is for the extended socks for shoe size 8-12. These socks do not have as much cotton in them as the web page says. It's suppose to have 69% Cotton/28% Polyester/1% Natural Latex Rubber/1% Spandex/1% Other Fiber....at the time of my purchase in November 2019. What I received was 42% cotton, 57% polyester, 1% spandex. I'm so tired of these inaccurate material for my socks. I WANT MOSTLY COTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read the rest of the negative reviews and over the last few years the cotton has been decreasing more and more. Why is it that women's socks don't come in high quality. I'm so tired of women being taken advantage of from sock manufacturers. Along with other clothes manufacturers (try buying a decent pair of underwear nowadays). Time for women to go on strike!! I'm starting to purchase men's socks. They're better quality and have more cotton. I refuse to buy men's underwear though (time for an emoji). Twenty or more years ago women's socks were 100% cotton. I know cotton cost more, I know the cost will go up.

The fabric content of these was not as advertised. I prefer mostly cotton socks and these are advertised as 69% cotton. What I received shows a fabric content of 55% polyester and only 41% cotton (the rest spandex, nylon, etc). Hanes has also changed the size of their socks. I've been wearing this style for years and I always buy the same size. I compared one of these new socks to one of my old ones from Hanes and this is much smaller. In short, these socks are a huge disappointment.

I wear little socks like these to bed.I tried a pair of these for a single night, and by morning the top of my feet felt like they had been rubbed raw. I've never had sensitive skin, so it seemed weird. But putting my hand inside the socks, it's clear why--the knit across the vamp is bizarrely abrasive. God help you if you actually wore them inside sneakers, where they were actively rubbing against your feet!

Unfortunately my order of these Hanes socks were not what I expected...in the description it says that these socks are 69% cotton and 28% polyester, however theyâre actually 56% polyester and 42% cotton! Which is disappointing as I ordered them wanting a high % of cotton socks. :(
