Lightweight, loose and flexible pant that aren't leggings or sweats and have POCKETS!

I love these - was looking for some material cooler than the normal, heavy sweats to wear around the house during Cooler weather. My intention was not to get something appropriate for work, dinners or anything else "out", but that wouldn't be embarrassing to run to the store in. These are far more comfortable, but greatest of all, they have POCKETS. I couldn't find any other loungewear or exercise gear that had POCKETS. Even when I' m at home doing nothing, I frequently carry my phone in my POCKET as I move around the house. I put my keys, driver's license and money there when I run out. These cotton pant are exactly as described and wash like a rag. Pulling them out of the dryer promptly means they're never wrinkled (but, when the purpose is to wear them around the house, who cares if they are!), they're soft, loose, flexible and lightweight.
Don't waste your money.

The design of these pants is good but the fabric used is very poor quality. All three pairs that I purchased were quickly covered with pills. Horrible pills that look awful. I turn all of my clothes inside out when I launder them so that they don't pill. The fabric is cheap. Don't waste your money.

My mother is hard to fit. Her waist is much smaller in proportion to her hips and thighs. To get pants that fit through the hips I usually have to get them too big in the waist therefore a knit with a very elasticized waist is our usual choice. I bought these specific pants because I had previously purchased from the same company pants described identically: Women's Plus Size Straight Leg 7-Day Knit Pants that were wonderfully successful. When these showed up and on sale for $9 to boot I was thrilled. Too soon. The fabric is not at all similar and speaks to the biggest flaw in clothing design: lack of consistency in both sizing and quality. One absolutely cannot say, 'Wow this is great, I'll order another one in red.' and have any expectation of receiving the same product. This fabric is a fairly tight, sturdy knit; the big disappointment is the surface. It is soft and prone to rubbing, pilling and picking up lint. That said they fit, albeit snugly, but don't look as though they will stand up to much washing. I would wash inside out but not all mom's caretakers pay that much attention. They were purchased in December and they show wear in April. We also bought a pair in 3x and took tucks in the waistband. For $8.99 it's hard to complain too much.

Downgrading my original review from a 5 to a 4 because after I washed them they shrank in length by about 1-2 inches. They will go into the pajama drawer and be my fav pj bottoms but never again out into public.They did not shrink in any other direction as far as I can tell. just length. So weird. not a fabric I thought could shrink!Original review:Exactly like the photo. Soft, medium to lt-weight. perfect for spring, fall and perhaps summer. I love them. Perfect for PJS or very casual wear. I will purchase another pair.
No longer the same as former 7-Day Knits

I have been wearing all the 7- Day Knit Pants collection for years. The fabric is now thinner and more clingy which I dislike. The slacks are now about 2 inches longer in the Regular Womens size so I now need to order a petite for the length. I am so disappointed to see a reliable old standard being changed. They look and feel "cheap" now since the fabric as no body. I don't feel dressed up in them like I always did... These are almost like pajama bottoms now.

I bought one to try, hemmed it up, then hemmed it up again.... only to realize that when I washed - they did shrink. I was happy about that and took one hem out. So then I ordered three more pairs. What I like is that they are a nice knit material, not too light weight so for fall and winter they would be good. They are looser around the hips then I expected... but at my age, maybe that's a good thing. The elastic waste is a tiny bit tight, but I'm used to stretched out elastic so it's fine. And it will stretch too. I like too, that they have many colors to choose from.

I ordered 5 pairs of these "slacks" and what I got was drawstring sweatpants. Waiting on a few more to arrive but I will be returning all products. These are not slacks! The pictures show you they aren't. Slacks dont have a sinched ankle cuff. Nor do they have drawstrings!
Perfect Fit

Just received these pants and wore them for the first time today. They fit perfectly. Just for a point of reference, I am 5' 5" and weigh 198. I have a large waist and not so large rear. The pants are soft and very comfortable. The elastic waist is very much appreciated. Of course I haven't washed them yet so I may do an update after that. I am very pleased and would recommend these pants.

Well made, good color and material, hassle to return as I have no printer for return label plus cost me quite a bit to return by priority mail, not worth it for me.
