I love this purse. I loved this style when I first started seeing them around a few years ago but all the ones I saw back then were completely open on top and I just can't deal with not having a zipper to close up my wallet, phone, keys, etc.This is a big purse, but it's soft cloth so if you don't fill it it just lies flat and doesn't weigh much at all. On the other hand, it's a big purse, so there really is room for a lot of stuff if you are inclined to fill it, and the wide strap, while a little odd to me at first, makes this very comfortable to wear as a cross body, whether it's mostly empty or you've loaded it down. The colors and patterns are super fun, and so varied I'm pretty comfortable that it matches pretty much anything I might wear. And it zips! Yeah!Also there is a small zippered pouch in the front that holds (for me) 2 large reusable bags, a flash drive, a slim pair of reading glasses, and my work badge, as well as a zippered pocket inside the main zippered compartment that holds my keys, my phone, my iPod if I have it, Chapstick, earbuds, and has room for more if there was more I wanted to put in there. And then there's the rest of the main zippered compartment, that can hold my lunch, water bottle, and a good sized book as well as my wallet and the rest of the miscellaneous stuff I always carry. Like I said, this is a pretty big purse. There's also a Velcro pocket on the strap that is apparently designed for your phone--but that whole zipper thing is still an issue for me so I just have a spare hair clip in there.This is my favorite purse in a long time...I've been using it for about four months and so far it's holding up well. The only issue I've had is that the button on the front (that you can use to close the purse instead of or with the zipper) fell off. I never used the button because I always use the zipper and buttoning it after zipping it is sort of redundant, but I sewed the button back on just because I think it's cute there.I've already picked out another style/color to buy as a backup for this one, because I like it so much.

I am so pleased with this bag! It greatly surpassed my expectations. I had been looking at these types of bags for a while now and was wanting one to replace the bulky diaper bag I've been lugging around for the last year and a half because it wasn't comfortable to carry while wearing my kiddo in a baby sling. I live in Austin which is a total hippie/hipster town and they sell these style bags everywhere, but i'm glad I checked online as well and decided on this one because:1. Despite what another review reported, the material on this bag is actually considerably thicker and more durable than the materials used on many of the other bags I've seen in this style. All the others I looked at locally were more expensive and cheaper quality. Not only is the material sturdy on this bag but the stiching is good quality.2. The strap is very wide which makes it oh so comfortable on my shoulder, which is important for someone who has a 22 pound baby hanging off of a sling from the other shoulder.3. It's beautiful! I absolutely love the colors and patterns and textures of this bag, it's so happy and versatile. The photo is true to the bag but I think it's even prettier in person!4. The reviewer who said this bag is too small must have expected a suitcase because this thing is huge. I can fit a day's worth of toddler gear plus my own stuff with room to spare (Large stack of diapers, wipes, creams, spare toddler clothes, snack cups, sippy cup, 32oz water bottle, toy cars, large wallet, blankie... you get the point). A student could probably fit a 3 ring binder in this thing, a laptop and a couple of textbooks.4. Not to keep picking on the other reviewers, but whoever said the strap is too short, you must be seven feet tall! I am 5'4'' and the bottom of this bag goes down to my knee. I typically wouldn't prefer a bag with such a long strap but it's perfect now that I have a kiddo. i needed a bag that would fall lower than my hip because that's about how high my toddler sits when I'm wearing him. The diaper bag kept hitting him and getting in the way whenever I had him in my arms but this bag sits nice and low and doesn't interfere with baby-wearing. Mom win!5. This bag has a couple of generously large zip pockets (one on the outside and one inside) as well as a velcro cell phone pocket conveniently located on the strap (fits my iphone 5c with a huge otterbox defender case). Other "hippie" shoulder bags I've looked at did not have all the extra pockets.6. The bag shipped within an hour of my placing the order and arrived the second day. Very prompt!I will be using this bag daily until it falls apart at which point I hope it will still be in production because I'll want another one.An excelllent purchase for a very decent price. I highly recommend it (and I say that about few products).
One Big Beautiful Bag

I love this bag. It is equally as vibrant as advertised, and it is the largest of the Shangri-La Nook bags for US$5.99. It is a beautiful bag and I wonder why it is not listed with the others (I would know. I purchased six of them.). Nonetheless you get your money's worth with these bags. They are very well-made. While useful for the beach, I use them as statement accessories for my outfits. I would highly recommend.
Looks good with anything

It hangs well on your body and the wide strap is extra comfortable. The pattern of the fabric is neutral and matches anything you wear but still very attractive and eye catching. It's very well made and it holds a lot of stuff. And the price is great. I didn't expect it to be so nice but am glad it is
Gets lots of compliments

This bag is certainly unique, and I have gotten many compliments and "Where did you find that?" questions. It is large enough to hold everything I need & sits comfortably over my shoulder. There are not many compartments (mine actually came with a non-functional front zipper pocket but returning seemed too much of a hassle), but a small pencil bag stashes all of my smaller items without problem. Also, the velcro that closes the cell phone pocket (located on the wide strap) seems weak and has opened several times, allowing my cell phone to fall out when the bag is set down somewhere (usually the floorboard of my car). I plan to sew a metal snap onto it in the near future. But, other that those couple of things, this has been a fun, useful purchase.

We love these bags! They have zippers, theyâre lined, theyâre sewn well and hold a LOT. They have a cell pocket, a zipper pocket on the front that holds a ton and another pocket on the inside. We canât wait to get more for fall and winter.
