I like this bag as a casual cross body and its big enough for traveling which is what I got it for but the hook that holds the flap down wasnt designed right or installed right because I couldnt get it open. So the whole last trip I was on I had to hand hold it down. They need to fix that. I am having a shop grind down the hook so it will fit into the loop. As you see in the pic thats as far as it goes in. If I force it more I cant get it out. But I really shouldnt have to do that.... ugh

We bought 2 that have been used daily and they still look new. I think they are getting close to 2 years old. They hold an amazing amount of stuff.
Well made but not practical for an everyday purse. Needs more pockets or easier accessibilty with one hand.

I LOVED the look and feel of this bag. The fabric, clasp, design, color ect were all beautiful. It felt well constructed and like it would be durable and long lasting but ultimately I returned it the day after it arrived. Here's why: There is no way to quickly access anything one handed. If there were an exterior pocket to quickly drop my keys and cell phone, I would have kept this but there's not. This is a bag/purse that requires two hands to operate. There are also no interior pockets to keep things organized. The only pocket is a small exterior zipper pocket which is nice - but it's located under the flap that requires two hands to operate the clasp so it's just not practical for what I intended to use it for. Appearance and feel would get a 5 star review but functionality leaves much to be desired. (Posted by the account holders wife)

This is a great little bag. I have no problems with the clasp, it keeps the bag shut in a way that isn't just "a snap" to open, which is a good security feature. The color is beautiful (I got the plum). It's very high quality, and the strap is adjustable so I can wear it on my shoulder or cross-body. It doesn't have pockets inside the main compartment, but in a bag of this size I don't need them. I use a little cosmetic bag to put my small items in so I can always find them easily, and I can easily pack and unpack my bags/purses this way. The outer pocket is perfect for my phone and lip balm and maybe a couple of other small items I might need to get out frequently.

I use this bag as my carry-all when flying or traveling. It will fit my field notes, a water bottle, kindle and Nintendo 3ds with plenty of room to spare. This is the simplest, easiest design for a shoulder bag you can think of, and getting through TSA security since switching to this bag has been a breeze. It is a very durable design which has held up wonderfully when I had to use it as a field bag in a pinch (coming from a professional archaeologist).

I love the bag. It's a good size (most bags you find are built around the iPad) and just the right look to not be a man-purse and not an REI type bag. It's also small but you'll be surprised how much you can cram in when you need to.I'm not crazy for the hook type closure, it take two hands to clasp it or undo but it looks like I might be able to handle it one-handed after a while.The bag is very well made. I have a duffel bag of theirs too. The strap on the this bag would be nice to be non-slip because even though it's a cross-body bag it slips back and forth too easy. The material is a little slick but this is minor.

One of my favorite bags, it's slightly smaller than I expected but you can cram a ton in it. Wish the front zipper pocket were slightly bigger. I feel secure in knowing my items are secure inside and will not get wet with the G1000 fabric.

Great Lakes Outpost was amazing with the shipping. I couldn't believe how fast it was! The bags are beautiful and will last for years. I will have to come and visit the brick and mortar store when the plague is over.

I already have a few Fjällräven bags and other things and have always liked them and Fjällräven as a company. The Foldsack No. 3 is nicely designed and seems as well made as usual for Fjällräven. It is very small so has fairly limited options for what you can carry. The smaller front pocket is fine for phone, keys, wallet etc. The main compartment is big enough for a few books and/or an iPad/Kindle but not much more than that. There's no padding or lining in either pocket so no cushioning for anything that might need it. The strap seems a little on the narrow side but not too noticeably. The G1000 cotton material is not in itself completely waterproof but is quite thick and does a decent job of keeping out water for a time. It can be waxed to make it completely rainproof though. Overall I'm happy with the bag. It's fine for small everyday things that you'd probably want to carry with you most of the time. I might have liked a few divisions in the main part of the bag, though it's already small so this would just reduce the usable space. And the strap could be a little wider/sturdier. I'm sure I will use the bag quite a lot in any case and imagine it will be useful day-to-day.

great bag for every day use...tough as old boots. I had a friend add a leather band to the inside of the shoulder strap to stop it slipping off my shoulder - bit annoying to have to do that, but I still love the bag!
