The Good:-Solid construction-Simple style-Comfortable to carry-Fits up to a 15â laptop-Great for office or travel-LightweightThe Bad:-A bit expensive but solidly constructedThe Bottom Line:Iâm using this Osprey Arcane shoulder bag to carry my 14â Dell Latitude laptop and itâs been great. The bag is lightweight and comfortable to carry. It is very well constructed (no surprise as itâs an Osprey). It has a large compartment which you can put you laptop and other larger items. It also has a smaller pocket on the front which is a scratch free pocket. there is also a rear pocket also for documents. The only downside is that the bag is a bit expensive but it is an Osprey and the quality is there. Overall, I would still recommend this Osprey Arcane for itâs function and style.**Disclosure: I received a sample product from the Amazon Vine program for an honest and unbiased review.

This Osprey bag is wonderful, and I wish I had found it sooner. First, it will hold a laptop computer on the inside in the extra padded area; however, it will hold a larger computer if you use the center area. But first, let me tell you about all the pockets and fabric. The fabric is a durable and sustainable construction from recycled polyester. This fabric is tightly woven, smooth to the touch and easy to clean. The adjustable and padded shoulder strap detaches, and the hooks are very well constructed for durability and long wear. Also, the strap hooks are hidden in exterior pockets so that no one can unhook the bag without you seeing, and the hooks canât get caught on something. There are also carry handles made of the same, but stronger, sustainable and very durable material. On the outside front there is a 14 ½ by 12-inch pocket that closes with a zipper and a flap that covers the zipper so that it makes it harder for thieves to get into your bag. This area is great for papers or books. On the outside back, there is a padded pocket that measures 13 ½ by 8 ½-inches. This also closes with a zipper and cover. On the inside, there is a padded divider between the computer storage area on the back wall of the case and the rest of the bag. The computer storage area also has a tab closure to hold electronics securely in place. On the inside front wall of the case, there are places for pencils/pens, a open pocket about 2 ½ by 5 ½-inches for notes and other items, and a zippered pocket about 8 by 5 ½-inches for money, passport, phone, or other small items. The overall dimensions are 17 ½-inches long, 13-inches tall, and 4-inches wide. This is more than enough room for a computer, a couple of books, notebooks and papers, and everything needed for work, school or travel. If traveling, this counts as a personal carry-on item and can be stored overhead or under the seat. As for traveling, this bag is roomy enough to carry a computer and change of clothes for a quick trip. Nice, simple bag that looks great. On the outside, there is a single zipper pocket for charges and miscellaneous items on the front, and a larger zippered pocket on the back that will accommodate standard size folders and papers. The laptop pocket inside is secured with a velcro strap and is well-padded. Next to that is a tablet pocket that fits my 12.9" iPad Pro. The main compartment is very spacious and could fit some clothes and even gym shoes. There are two pen holders, one business card slot, a zippered pocket for important items, and a keychain.Overall a well-made bag that is very simple b tu functional. I do prefer my free standing Tecovas briefcase for formal meetings and business, but this is a good one that I grab for a quick casual meeting or trip to the local coffee shop. Note that it is not free-standing. so you'll need to lean it up against something or simply lay it flat.

I tried out this bag the first day I got it by using it to carry my 13â laptop and assorted paperwork to a business meeting. I have a carrying case specifically for my laptop, but I like this bigger bag because I can fit in everything I need for a meeting.This is a fairly lightweight, but sturdy, canvas briefcase. It does not have metal âfeetâ or other protection on the bottom, so if youâre going to put it on the floor youâd do better to get a dark color that doesnât show dirt as much.It has handles and a detachable shoulder strap, a padded pocket for your laptop, exterior zipper pockets front and back, and a small zipper pocket inside. Thereâs plenty of room for what you need for the day. Itâs casual but looks nice.
Good padding, under-the-radar styling

The external appearance of this bag is rather nondescript, and looks rather like one of these freebie bags you get for attending an insurance seminar that you bring home and try to give it to someone. Which is actually quite an advantage if you want something under the radar that sends thieves and pickpockets elsewhere. But inside is where it shines- lots of room, extremely well padded laptop sleeve and all the standard accoutrements that you would expect from a higher end bag- pockets, pen holders, key chain holder, etc. It's a rather thin brief case so it won't hold a change of clothing, but for a day to day office bag, it is just about perfect. Quality is top notch and very well made.

I needed a new brief for work - this met my needs perfectly!What I Like:Excellent quality - made to last a long time.Use of recycled materials - Osprey's commitment to the environment is to be commended!Fits my 15" laptop perfectly with room for a notepad, pens and other miscellaneous items. Space is a little tight for my power supply but I was able to squeeze it in.Shoulder strap is provided - I generally never use this feature but actually nice to have when traveling and carrying multiple items.Great brief that should last! Highly recommend!
