Too narrow

I loved it, but had to return it, because it's really small. A scholar tote should fit a book or two with a laptop, this has space exactly for the laptop. Needed to be larger

Great Bag - 1 issue

The bag is lightweight and perfect size with commuting on the train; the tote straps work great for this reason.My issue is - it would be wonderful if the backpack strap retracted in... you can tuck them but it has presented an issue - as the straps hang longer then I would like.

Smart and stylish - 5 star form and function

First impression - Super stylish! I have another Timbuk2 phone carrier - their stuff is always very sleek.There are things that make this bag stand out from competition - the obvious one is the design and style (looks) - It looks better in person than it does in the photos. Even the way they style their straps is different. Very functional - but a tight, sleek fold, instead of a knot. little things like that all over the bag make a big difference.> 2nd thing that is equal to it's looks is how well it's made. It's extremely well made. The materials are very durable. The zippers are "heavy duty", but look cool. It has rubber around the slots for some straps which improves it's looks, but also adds to it's durability. Analyzing the stitching and craftmanship on the bag - it's solid, well put together. You arent going to tear the bag or break the straps easily at all. it's as rugged as it is good looking.> Lots of pockets - side pockets on both sides, pockets inside. I use the bag as an everyday 'purse' because it holds a ton of stuff, and looks great, but it would be the perfect bag to take on a day trip anyway. It can hold a lot, but it's not overly cumbersome. The perfect bag to take on a day trip when you want to pack everything you will ever need for the day, but you dont want to lug around a big bag. Overall - I love this bag!

I really like it, but it's pretty compact

This isn't the kind of tote you'll want if you'e looking to take lots of stuff with you. But it's a sleek, very attractive tote/backpack for anyone who wants to take the basics withe them to school or meetings. (I'm long out of school, but it would work well for me if I'm meeting with clients and need my computer with me.After reading some of the comments about fitting a laptop inside, I tested it with my two, one a 12" ThinkPad, and the other a Macbook Pro with a 15" screen, and both fit inside. There are multiple pouches and compartments and two small bottle holders on either side.This is a sleek tote/backpack, and I really like it. But I won't be using it every day, only when I need a computer when visiting clients. It may not be large enough for a college student who needs to carry books and such every day.

Really Cute

This Timbuk2 bag is adorable! The pink is the same in person as shown in the picture. It works just as described - both as a backpack, and as an over-the-shoulder bag. The only thing I wish was a bit different, is that I wish there was a pocket that the long should straps could tuck into, or that they could pull back into the bag itself when you're wearing it as a backpack. As it is, they sort of just flop around, which isn't my favorite, and I feel like it looks sort-of weird. However, the bag overall is cute, and useful.

Nice convertible tote/backpack

I’ve been looking for a bag that could be either a tote or a backpack so decided to try this one. It’s sturdy but not heavy. There’s an inner pocket for a computer but I wish there were more internal compartments or pockets for things like cords and personal items. The backpack straps can be tucked into a zippered compartment when you use it as a tote. I marked it down for not having more internal compartments, for the odd color, and the need for more padding to protect a computer.

プライベート用に買いました。仕事で使用しているトートバッグのバッグインバッグを入れ替えるだけに、と思いましたが素材がしっかりしているため、意外と柔軟性がなくバッグインバッグを入れたら他にあまり入りませんでした。サイドのドリンクホルダーは荷物多めに入れて圧迫されても何とかペットボトルや小さめの水筒が入りましたが正直、小さめに作られていて柔軟性もあまりないです。トートとしてもリュックとしても特に問題なく使いやすいです。色はDaybreakというピンクの様な色を買いました。実物は写真よりベージュやオレンジに近いような変わった色のピンク？でした。男性が使用しても違和感はありませんでした。
