Butterfly Basher

When my beloved purse of several years developed a hole in the lining big enough to lose a Chihuahua in (don't ask how I know), I reluctantly embarked on a quest to find a new, non-creature-swallowing purse. It took me months - seriously, - to find one I liked enough to buy. Enter the Butterfly Bag.Woohoos: It is exactly as described and pictured. It's faux leather, which is my favorite kind. It's got that lovely shine one expects from patent faux skin, and it's very easy to clean. The design is really pretty, and the standy-uppy handles add extra flair. The included shoulder strap has the butterly design on it, which is a nice detail. It seems well-made and sturdy. I think it will last me a long time.Bummers: I got the one with the butterflies in silver, and it would look better with silver-toned hardware. However, I expected the gold hardware. I did expect any of that gold hardware to be missing. The bag arrived without a zipper pull on the main zipper, so I couldn't close the bag. That was a bit frustrating, as the ability to close (and open) my purse is kind of important. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of an exchange, though, so I found a substitute pull.Zipper frustration aside, I'm really happy with the purse. It has plenty of room. (Be warned: this is not a small bag. This is the kind of bag that causes its carrier to misjudge spatial relationships and end up whacking people with it. Frequently. Inadvertently [usually], but frequently.) It's pretty and different, as well as being sturdy and functional. Love it.
