It is pleather! but I don't care

I needed the red pleather part-not the chain-you can really tell that it isn't leather and it is glued on the back so you can see some of the white backing BUT-I needed a red leather strap for a real Chanel purse that I painted red-the color didn't match so I sanded it and painted it with the same color red as the purse and it looks similar to the leather one that is on my black Chanel. I'll send pics as soon as I put it in the Chanel strap.
