Love this size and organization

The small one was too small. This is just right. I'm a teacher and beyond regular purse items I need to be able to tuck in a book and a tablet without having it all jumbled together. BUT, while there are totes and organizers with a gazillion pockets, too many pockets can be annoying as you search. This has exterior pockets (six) that make it easy to grab my phone, my keys, my breath mints, and sunglasses.Inside are four large slip pockets. I got sort of obsessed and found three Ipsy makeup bags that are the same but different colors. Each has one of the slip pockets: one makeup bag actually for makeup, one for notes, post it's, reading glasses, and pens. The third holds feminine stuff. This leaves one extra pocket for my sunglass case and the entire bottom of the bag is free for paperwork, binders, and books.Color is lovely. Straps are great. The silver connectors are more stylish than most. The only thing is be sure to know it is deep.
Knock-off? Nope. It's legit!

I purchased the Navy bag from Amazon and the same bag in Cherry from ebags. (Ebags had a sale, it was less expensive for the Cherry than Amazon's price.)I put the bags side by side and noticed some differences. They made me worry that I had purchased a knock-off. The sewn straps with the ring on top are higher on the Navy, there was not a metal hang tag on the Navy and the width of the straps were different. The leather is supple and lovely quality on both bags. I decided it didn't matter if it was a knock-off because it was high quality.I went to the David King website and looked at the photos. The navy bag is exactly like the photos. I know the Cherry is legit because it was shipped from the David King store in Boston. I think that the navy bag may be an older model and is in fact a David King.I am happy with my purchase, they are beautiful bags totally worth the money.
Doesn't have the feel or look of good leather

Leather started flaking at the corners after one day of use.Scratches easily (I bought the purple, if that makes a difference).Doesn't have the suppleness or thickness of a decent leather bag.I definitely don't recommend it at full price.
