I am a Baggalini collector but they do not make an expandable bag which I definitely wanted. Thrilled to find this bag. It is made of very similar fabric, has many of the same great features, was much less expensive, AND expands to a great size. Gave 4 stars only because the added zippers & fabric make it a little heavy + zipping & unzipping the expanding part takes patience & effort. I have gotten many compliments on the Raven print that I purchased. A friend loved my bag so much she purchased one in grey just so we wouldn't mix them up. Otherwise love & recommend it.

GANZ has purchased Beyond a Bag - I wish they would get the inventory stocked up - VERY difficult to find matching pieces and near impossible to find more than about 3 of the styles - Expanda-A-Pack, 2-IN-1 BAG, and TOILETRY NOTEBOOK seem to be about the only ones you MIGHT find and in matching colors.GREAT PRODUCT - I have the Expanda-A-Pack and Toiletry Notebook - used for over two years -- but only maybe a dozen times - they have worn extremely well - I don't mind paying a higher but still reasonable price for a quality product - and these are quality products - neither of my bags show any signs of wear / tear - the zippers are good quality and work very well.I just bought the same two products for my niece for her college graduation - hope she finds them as useful as I have.I didn't even know they had cosmetic and jewelry bags until I had to search high and low for matching bags for my niece. I can't find many of either of these smaller organizer bags and not in pagoda blue or green (my color).I wrote to GANZ - suggesting they get the inventory stocked up - and about how much I love their products - but they did not reply. :(Bottom line - great purchase.
A Quality Bag with the Most Clever and well made design I've ever found

I was immediately impressed by the quality of this bag - first, the red color is so beautiful and fun. Then, going through the various zipper compartments, I was impressed with the quality zipper pulls, strong zippers that opened and closed easily. The velcroed flap on the front is strong and under it is an open section and a zippered compartment. There are two more zippered compartments accessed from on top in front and one toward the back. The back of the bag has another zippered compartment.And the coolest feature is the hidden duffel that opens and closes like an accordion from a middle zipper. It opens easily into a handy mid-sized duffel perfect for stashing the sweater or hoodie or snacks etc you might bring along and decide to stash. It will be perfect for under the seat on a plane. All of the compartments and the duffel are lined in a gorgeous red satin-finished sturdy fabric.Not only is the construction and fabric terrific, somehow it is also light weight!The metal D-rings to switch the strap to shoulder or waist position are also quality, as are the clips on the ends of the strap that clip on to the D-rings. The strap is sturdy webbing and well made. For my preferences, I would like the strap even more if it was wider. I might switch that out with other straps I have if I plan to carry a heavier load for many hours.At the price I paid - which was great and even better using some of my Amazon points,I got a super deal. I noticed that different colors of the bag have different price points. I am considering getting one in black, too. I also plan to scope out more of ganz.com's bags to see what other clever designs they have. I love bags that convert into waist bags, back packs etc etc.If you are a bag fanatic with high demands for efficiency and organization at a great price, I highly recommend this bag. I haven't used it yet, but I can tell it will be perfect for certain times and needs. Update: this is a great bag in use. It is nice as a personal item bag for planes and has enough capacity for a Kindle sized tablet, magazines, misc personal items. All of the pockets allow for stashing whatever you might need. And I love how, once you are at your destination, you can unpack it, collapse it and use it for a day bag knowing that if you buy anything, you can easily open it up and have a small duffel bag. It takes a little finesse to get it to close up fast, but the learning curve is not all that hard!

I love this bag for those outings when you start out thinking you're just doing a couple errands and need your wallet, keys and a few essentials. Then, who knows, maybe you pick up a magazine, or pass a yard sale, or your fickle five-year-old insists you carry the water bottle or sweater. Then, like magic, your little, efficient purse unzips into a big tote! SO convenient, and the multiple wearing options (around the waist, over the shoulder, etc.) are very convenient. So far it's stayed in great shape, but I don't put anything very heavy in it, as the seams don't seem super durable or strong. And I would call it water resistant but not waterproof. But overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Wow- this is SO clever. I got these for a trip my daughter and I are taking- and this is an amazing little bag. I will keep it in my backpack, and then when I need more storage for souvenirs, I'll just unzip it. I was afraid it might be hard to get it to go back in its cute, but the zipper literally puts it all back the way it should be. Just do it slowly, and follow the folds. I can't tell you what a clever design this is. It's not super huge- pay attention to the dimensions- but it's quite nice. And it will be just the thing for us!

This bag has so many possibilities. It's a great little travel bag. The purse part holds a lot. I use it for around town, Then when I need to I just unzip the center and it becomes a small duffle bag. Where I live most of our stores don't give you a bag with your purchases anymore. so instead of me trying to remember to shove a bag in my purse this bag allows me to have an instant bag when I need it. It's a neat bag, but for various reasons it didn't work for me. Unfortunately it's one of those Amazon items that charges for the return. $6.95 plus $2.99 shipping turns into a $4.60 return shipping fee. Oh well, some Goodwill shopper will enjoy it.

Its an alright bag, but the quality isn't all that great. The inside seams tend to rip after only a few uses.
