Love This Purse!

This is a purse/backpack. It is not a book bag/back pack. Definitely not for school book use. This is an awesome backpack purse. The lining is great and I have had no problems with it ripping or being flimsy. There are a lot of pockets, which I enjoy. An inside one in the main purse part that is very spacious. The inside itself has ample room to hold my wallet, checkbook, makeup bag and when I carry my stuff to go workout, it holds a water bottle and towel, with room left over and I can zip it easily. All of the other pockets are great. Two on each side and two in the front and one in the back. I like the pocket in front with the buckle. The buckle is magnetic so you don't have to worry about actually buckling it, it has a button underneath that just snaps shut. It is great for holding keys or something you need quick access to without rummaging around in the entire purse (because it is a deep purse). Oh and the whiners on here who said in their review that it has a "weird" smell, uhm, that's the smell of leather. You may not be used to it or know the difference between that and cheap plastic or vinyl.
Great backpack purse!

I ordered this purse to replace a leather backpack purse I currently own. It is leather although the typo says "lather". The color is true to the picture. The front snapping pocket is roomy enough for my keys and the clasp is sturdy. The front zip compartment is deep and fits my whole hand. The two side zip compartments are roomy enough for money, coins, chap stick, etc. The back zip compartment is wide and about a hand deep so I'll be able to fit my cell phone in here. The zippers are sturdy and seem to be well sewn. The main compartment of the purse is large, which is pleasing to me as I needed something a little bigger than I currently have. There is a small zip compartment in the main compartment but it won't hold much. I only ever use this area for coins or lipstick anyway. The straps slide through the metal hoop in order to open the main compartment so this is secure enough for me. I like that it can be worn as a single strap purse or a back pack purse. It's convenient when I am shopping, loading or unloading my vehicle and can keep my purse securely on my back (as a back pack) without leaving it in the cart or fighting with it falling off my shoulder. The design is really nice and it looks well made. I do love this purse and would recommend it. It will make a good travel purse as well. I always use backpack purses when I am traveling.
Fun bag, great for travel and a lovely price.

The straps are strong. The leather is nice and soft and strong with a nice feel on the hand. The conversion from backpack to purse is easy and fun.My husband wasn't embarrassed to carry it when needed. ;)I love this bag. It's a lot of fun. I like that it has a lot of pockets. There are side upper pockets (hard to see on photos) that are big enough for a small spare cell phone charger or a change purse or wallet. The lower side pockets are large enough for sun glasses or a cell phone. The back pocket (would rest against your back if you had it on in backpack mode) is a flat pocket that can hold our 5 passports plus a map and a bunch of boarding passes. The front, under flap, pocket is large enough for a checkbook style wallet. The pocket above that is a little tighter opening than it appears in the pictures and I used only for gift cards, small memo's, mints etc. There are inside pockets made of the same thin fabric as the liner that look like they are intended for reading glasses, a note pad and pens... in other words slim thin items. The main pouch gets a little floppy because the leather is soft and wants to collapse, but it is spacious and can carry probably the size of a gallon jug if you could get it through the opening but the opening isn't that big. It's dimensions are like a bucket tote.
