This isn't a purse.A shell bag is used to hold your "possibles" while hunting. That includes bullets, shells, powder, reloading supplies, a cleaning kit, perhaps a skinning knife. It's called a #50 bag because it can hold 50 shells. I like to wear this around my shoulder with all my possibles and my camping equipment slung around my back.If you intend on using this to hold your lady items you will be sorely dissapointed ss it can barely fit a purse wallet. Perhaps a #200 shell bag would fit better.Craftsmanship is amazing, straps are tough as naiks, and I anticipate handing this one down to future generations. Very good for the 20 bucks I got it for.
Quality and style!

As a Minnesota native, I may be a little biased, but I've always thought highly of Duluth Pack and wanted to own one of their bags for myself. This is the first bag I've purchased of theirs (starting small), and I am glad to report that it doesn't disappoint! The craftsmanship is great, and the material feels durable and high-quality. The leather strap was a bit stiff, but feels substantial, and has definitely softened in the few months since I bought it. I appreciate that it's made by hand in my home state. Even found a signature on the sewn-in tag so I know which employee made it, which is a fun touch! The size is great for what I intended to use it for, basically just as a small purse but also specifically as a day bag for travel. My husband and I recently spent two weeks in Europe, which was a perfect excuse to finally break down and order this cross body bag I had been covering. Worn all day every day, and it was perfectly comfortable and had no visible signs of wear by the end- and we put it through a lot! I'm already contemplating which Duluth Pack model to get next...

When my wife received this hand bag, she was shocked to find how small it is and how little one can actually carry in it. Regretfully, it is being sent back asap. It would have gone back sooner, but we were on vacation out of state for over a week. Good quality, but way to small for the average woman who attempt to get her entire wardrobe in one bag!!!
