After a LOT of consideration and comparing jackets, I bought the Columbia Women's Benton Springs II jacket in a 2x.FIT: I like my jackets loose and usually wear a 1x. The 2x isn't huge on me, but fits with a little extra room to wear a top underneath and still hang nicely. I absolutely love the length of this jacket! It covers my rear and has a wonderful A-line shape which is flattering. I have what my kids call "T-Rex arms". (Kids always give you the nicest compliments!) The sleeve length is about 1.5-2" too long for me, which is very common in just about every long-sleeve top I buy. I can deal with that by rolling up the sleeve, or if it's cold, keeping it down. I can always make that minor adjustment with a few quick stitches too. What made me especially happy was that there is enough room in the upper arm for even people with big arms like me.CONSTRUCTION: I'm not usually "into" fleece but this jacket is so cozy and amazingly lightweight! I was surprised at how lightweight it is to hold, but once you have it on, it's surprisingly warm. When I take it off, it'll be easy to carry around. I hate heavy jackets and this one is going to be perfect for cool So. Cal. days or for traveling. The zipper is a double one that you can open from the bottom or the top and seems to be of good quality. I'm hoping the jacket material won't pill but will follow others' instructions to line-dry it instead of using the dryer.Seriously one of the best purchases I've made on jackets in a long time.

Love this jacket, I ordered the 1x and it fits perfectly, I'm 5'6/280lbs. It's not too tight so I'll still be able to wear a light sweater or long sleeve shirt underneath, but I like that it's still fitted to my curves. I'm glad it has a hood and is a little longer. I don't really like traditional winter coats, since I normally run hot, so this will work perfectly for Fall and the beginning of winter with the light not very cold snowfalls. Bonus, it'll keep my hair from getting wet.

this is a great fleece jacket, Has a hood, super warm. I am a 18/20 and the 2XL fits wonderful, even has a little bit of extra room in the hips. This jacket is longer goes over my bottom and I am 5' 8". Zipper pockets in front. Well made, just what I expected from Columbia. Would buy again.

I spent many hours researching the size and measurements. I think Columbia could do a better job with posting the sizes and all measurements for each size. I normally wear womenâs XL T-shirtâs (42D chest) and I ordered this jacket in 1XL. I shouldâve gotten 2XL cause the 1XL is snug if Iâm wearing a sweater or many layers of shirts. The thickness is the same as all other fleece Columbia zip ups. The hood is the best feature and reason I bought this. Itâs longer than the usual Columbia fleece jackets, Iâm 5â4â and it covers my butt completely. Longer than usual sleeves which is nice. The bottom flares out and does not have an elastic cord to tighten. The color is not a true black, itâs a dark grey. Overall nice fleece jacket, just wish I wouldâve bought the bigger size.

I'm 5'11" and about 240lbs. The 1x fits great. Long enough in the hips. Especially perfect in the arms. I find it hard to get jackets to have long enough arms for my build. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
Black is not black itâs dark gray

I had to come back to look at the product photos just to see if they gave me the wrong color, I ordered black and the coat I got was like a very dark gray where itâs not quite black but itâs not the lighter gray thatâs the other option. So if youâre torn between black or gray just go with black lol Outside of the color being off I love everything else about the jacket, itâs fitted so you have some shape, itâs long so it covers to the hip, and I love that it has a hood and zippered pockets. I sized one up but I think I could have gone with just a 1x instead because itâs pretty roomy but I guess I can wear sweaters under it if I want to. These coats last forever so it was a great purchase.
Price for Columbia better than at a store. Columbia not as well made as in the past overall.

Fairly well made, although Columbia used to be better in my opinion so glad that I did not buy this at a store for much higher price. The zipper is cumbersome and kind of cheap so time will tell on that. I read all the reviews and ordered a 1x based on those. I think I would have prefered it be a bit looser so a 2x for me would have been better as my bust and hips make this just a bit closer of a fit than I prefer. I will keep it however as it is warm enough for the weather where I live in SC, so I won't have to wear anything bulky underneath, my lightweight shirts will be plenty. I ordered black and as the reviews say, it is more a dark charcoal, but I actually like the color if you want jet black this is not. As I said the price was better than if I have bought at a store, so I think it was a good value as long as the zipper behaves, that remains to be seen after use.

This jacket is a bit form fitting, so if you intend on wearing bulky sweaters, size up! Otherwise the fit is perfect, sleeve length is fine, zippers all quality. The only thing this jacket doesn't have and may not need are strings for the hood. The hood seems to have it's own drawcord sewn in but you can not adjust this and some people may find that annoying. This is a mid weight hoodie, it cuts the chill but shouldn't be worn in place of a winter jacket, perfect for fall and whenever it's chilly enough for a jacket but not for a full blown coat.

Came in on time. I unfortunately ordered a bigger size then I needed. It's still comfortable and I wear it all the time. The only sad part is the first time i washed and dried it, it ended up with a hole in it by the pocket â¹. I would definitely order another one in a different color but next time I'll order a size smaller

This coat is very beautiful and fits nicely. A bit tight on the rear and chest if you are curvy. I give it only 4 stars because the black is like a faded black.

This jacket fits perfectly and is very well made. The extra length is great especially for sitting on park benches on the sea wall! Pockets are deep with high quality zippers! The colour is lovely!! I highly recommend this product!!
