Loved this jacket. Snowboard shop near me had it for twice the price so I looked it up on amazon and it was a great price. Jacket is great. Obermeyer is a great brand

I really like this waterproof jacket

Women’s Obermeyer No 4 Shell JacketFirst, as the description states, it’s just a waterproof shell, with “a generous cut that allows for extra layers.” I ordered a size small and it’s very generous. I can wear a t-shirt, a long sleeve layer and a down vest underneath this jacket with no problem. (By contrast, I tried on a Royal Robbins rain jacket at the same time, wearing just a t-shirt and a thin long sleeve layer, and the Royal Robbins size small was too tight in the arm holes and in the forearm area, and the shoulder seams weren't in the right place on me.)Pros: big pockets. The front hand pockets are large enough to hold my gloves. There are also two internal pockets; I stash my hat in one of those.Design skims rain away from legs. I wore this standing in the rain for 20 minutes at a festival, and my legs didn’t get very damp, while my partner’s thighs got wet where his rain jacket stopped.Drop tail hem - keeps your bum dry.Cons: it’s a bit bulky. It isn’t ugly, but it’s not very flattering, either.The collar is a bit floppy when the jacket is open/not fully zipped. The fully zipped stand collar is nice when it’s really rainy and windy, though.
