Warm and cozy

I'm normally a size L in Columbia (I feel their coats usually run a bit small) but the medium fits better in this style. I am a medium based on the size chart so I'd say it's accurate. The coat is thick and boxy which gives an oversized and modern look. I love the dark true red and purple color options it was so hard to choose! Now the test will come this winter in Illinois. I wish that it included omni heat lining but maybe it's toasty enough without it. I like the look and feel after trying on. The neck is wide and doesn't get caught in my hair like some coats do. So far so good. I'll update to 5 stars if it stands up to a really cold day!

Love this jacket!! We live in Chicago, so it's cold and windy. I have drop off duty at school every morning and I stay warm! I amd 6' tall and got a 2x. The sleeves were more than long enough for my arms, a rare occurrence. Pleanty of room for layering.

Fit as expected, I wanted it a little loose to be able to wear over layers so I ordered a size up. I love the vibrant color. The pockets are spacious. It is very convenient that the zipper will zip up from the bottom to give more freedom of movement when needed. This meets the quality I expect from Columbia, all Columbia products I have owned have lasted through a lot of wear over many years. I really like that the coat goes well bellow the waste to keep the breeze off.

This is a great winter coat. Itâs very warm and long â pretty roomy (runs a little large). The hood stays up well. My only minor complaint is that itâs just very heavy â this might be obvious to others, but I donât buy a lot of winter coats and I was surprised at the actual weight. Itâs not packable or even squishable. The exterior pockets are lined with flannel, which is nice. (Note that there are no interior pockets.)

I recently donated a carload of old coats I never wore to charity but then found myself with nice warm jackets but no coat for when the temps got colder than 20-25 - rare here but it does happen especially early morning dog walk time. In fact, it got so cold one morning that I looked for only coats that would be next day delivery! I had not bought a coat in over 20 years and was overwhelmed by the choices. For most jackets or fleece or turtlenecks I buy men's since I detest the new fitted styles for women -- I prefer a straight boxy fit. I also needed a hood since an umbrella with a leash is awkward. So based on brand recognition and hood and the longer length and overnight availability I bought this coat. Although I am between a medium and large I bought an XL since it did say slightly fitted. The XL is perfect since under it I have multiple layers. I was worried about the hip area where the layers are long johns, sweats, a tucked in turtle and a fleece zip up, The XL is roomy enough for all that, has long enough sleeves which are also an issue I have with women's clothes. So I am pleased with the fit, the warmth, the length and the hood. I read a review which was bothered by no drawstring on hood but I actually like it without - nothing dangling under my chin and the hood fits fine over a watch cap. I have not worn it to drive but I am guessing the bottom up zipper would make that possible. For the price, which was quite nice compared to the prices on those 2 major websites that both start with L, I am thrilled with this purchase.

I ordered this in a Large. Perfect fit, just roomy enough to accommodate bulky winter clothes underneath without being too baggy.Wore it outside today. 25 degrees with a wind chill of 15..and winds at around 20-30 mph. Even when the wind gusted, I was warm! And all I had on underneath was a long sleeve t-shirt! Pockets are deep and have a soft lining. My butt was finally warm (this replaced a shorter coat) and the hood is large enough to completely cover my head without being so big that the hood falls back when the wind hits it head on. IMHO, no hood adjustment cord is needed.Ordered in Beet- love the color!In short, this Puffect coat is everything I'd expect from a company like Columbia. I'm really glad I bought it!

I just received this jacket today. I ordered a 1X (My usual size) and I was worried it would be too small. It fits perfectly with plenty of room for layers and it looks great! It is exactly what I was looking for. I had a similar LL Bean jacket for years and the dog just destroyed it. This jacket is pretty much the same fit and look so Iâm thrilled. The price was pretty good too! I cannot yet say how warm it will be but Iâm pretty sure it will be warm enough for Montreal winters. Thanks Amazon!

The white color is soooo cute! Super light weight and warm! Most importantly so stylish. Initially I ordered it for having winter jacket to the gym. But I ended up actually wearing it way more often than I thought because it goes really well with any clothes!

This jacket is perfect,very warm. The fit is generous,I usually buy a 2x but it runs a bit large so I ordered a xl in the black cherry. Iâm really pleased with my purchase,it also has a two way zipper which is convenient when driving. You wonât go wrong with this Columbia jacket for cold weather! Perfect length!
