The color in this photo does not do the jacket justice. In the photo, the jacket looks washed out and kind of brown. I wasn't sure about the color when I compared the same jacket at other store websites, but my boyfriend convinced me that it was just poor lighting. I'm SO happy I bought this jacket. Not only does it fit perfectly (very true to size) and look great, but the color is a true army green. It's exactly what I wanted and really well-made. You won't be sorry for giving this jacket a shot.

I bought the army green jacket. Fits as I like. I do tend to like my jacket and coats to be slightly bigger for layering, so I bought the XL. Id say XL is equivalent to a size 12/14 jacket. I am 5' 8" tall and of a medium (about 145) weight and build. Average (36C), not real large chested. I was a bit worried about sleeve length as some had mentioned the sleeves were to short but I found my jacket was a bit on the longer side, which is nice since I have longer arms. Better a bit long than to short. NOT a light weight jacket, has a bit of heft to it which I LOVE for Colorado in the Fall. Drawstring waist added to it nicely and heavy duty zipper-GREAT! Buttons all attached securely. Quilted design inside.I am reeeaallly pleased with this jacket! Opened the package and just said, "WOW! Met my expectation and beyond. Made really well. I might get in another color in the future : D

I followed the advice in the comments and sized up, but shouldnât have. The jacket is a great material and style is as expected. Iâm 5â3â and around 150. Ordered a large but it was too roomy to the point it felt bulky. The jacket itself is great but sending this back to order a medium. Itâs definitely a Fall jacket so I wouldnât really have a need to âlayerâ under it as I would in the winter. Iâm in the Midwest and wouldnât wear this during winter. I prefer a more fitted style so sizing down. But definitely a great addition to my closet!

This is by far my wifeâs favorite jacket for spring or fall. The material is a thick cotton. The fit is very well proportioned. Sheâs usually a large in jackets and this one fits perfectly. Looks cute on her. Sheâs 5â3, 150lbs.
issues with quality

quality control is lacking or this seller has flawed inventory. all the buttons were barley sewn on and there was a flaw on the stitching of the left breast pocket. otherwise the color and weight of fabric and lining was good and the size was good. cute style but for that price i don't want to lose buttons. oh and the color is not gray, it's brown. distressed/faded chocolate brown.

A couple of years ago I bought this jacket for my 20 something daughter for Christmas. She loved it. On several occasions I would borrow the jacket and loved it as well. I finally realized I needed to get myself the same jacket. Originally purchased at Macy's bought no longer available. I searched and FINALLY found it on Amazon. A little bit cheaper than I paid a couple of years ago too!.. Purchased the army green color. Has a hood which is what I really wanted. Very happy with purchase :)

I think I found the military-jacket of my dreams minus the large buttons and annoying drawstrings. Aside from being of no use, these buttons are big for my taste and feels like they're just gonna get caught on something and will easily rip off. I may have to reinforce the stitchings on them so they stay, hopefully, in place longer than expected. Also, these drawstrings would seem better hidden underneath. I think they would serve their purpose better if made by a stretchy, garter-like material so when you pull on one side, it would immediately cinch effectively. I would say the sizing is good as the large I ordered feels roomy enough for layering. I am 5'4" and about 140lbs -- I could have probably gotten away with medium easily but the large gives the best value. Th jacket's length adequately covers your bottom; shoulders allow ease of arm movement and the sleeves look fantastic either folded or not. I like that it has a hood and the body's quilting gives it extra warmth. This is a medium-heavy weight jacket good for cooler fall or early winter months but definitely not for wet or blistering cold weather. I was hoping to get the gray (brown) but I was drawn by the price of this olive-colored version. In "person," the olive looks great and versatile.

Love this jacket, perfect for a Texas winter. The sizing is a little tricky⦠First I bought one in a size medium and ended up giving it to my daughter who is about 5â8â tall and 140 pounds. It fit her perfectly maybe a touch loose. The sleeves were long enough and she could even fit her thick hoodie underneath. Then, feeling it was too loose for my own tastes (Iâm 5â6 and 130) I ordered another one but in small. Maybe I shouldâve stayed with a medium. The arms and shoulders were a little tight but the rest fit great. Looks like how I prefer though. Great, casual, not too thin nor too thick jacket.
