Has double zipper!

LOVE! I went back and forth on this coat because I kept seeing people complain about the zipper not being a double. That for that amount of money it should unzip at the bottom when you sit since itâs a trench. Well I decided to try it anyways and IT HAS A DOUBLE ZIPPER! I donât know if itâs a newer model or what but itâs perfect in every way. I got a Columbia one too and it was so thin and gross. This is lined beautifully and I love it. I wanted a trench as I have kids who when I pick up with wet boots get my pants soaked but it anymore!
Great functional trench with great lines

Purchased this for a trip that would involve a lot of urban trekking and hiking over uneven terrain in cooler weather with some rain. I ended up wearing it almost everyday. Love the sleek, not boxy look. Really like the zippered pockets both exterior and the interior security pocket especially. Appreciated the extra length when the weather was a little colder, wetter, windier than we expected. My husband commented that I was the best prepared. Love the dark indigo color!
Typical North Face jacket! Always meets expectations.

First of all, order your regular size North Face because they are sized so that you can add a layer underneath. Nice fit to this jacket. Falls just above knee (I am 5' tall). At 140 lbs, Large fit perfect except sleeves had to be hemmed two inches. Small fit my daughter at 104 lbs. Still room to layer underneath for both of us. Heavier than the resolve jacket, lined with a lining (not mesh) but still breathable and waterproof. I bought this for London to keep warm and dry.5 stars as usual.
Nicely made, not quite right for me

Pros: No velcro (!), two-way zipper, very nice materials. Cons: fitted, not terrible but not practical enough for layering (one size up works for layering, but also exacerbates that problem); no belt or ability to cinch in the waist internally, so there's no real shape to it, and no differentiating features outside means it's kind of dull unless you can get it in a happier color than grey or black...
Nice jacket if you have really skinny arms...

Fabric is nice, design is theoretically nice, however can barely bend my elbows with a thin shirt on under it. Have another mid length North Face jacket that is a great fit - can layer clothes under sleeves no problem. Very disappointed.
LOVE, but....

First, let me say that I LOVE this jacket. I needed something that would keep me dry but was also semi-professional. I ordered this jacket in the middle of a week of non-stop rain and prime shipping really saved my life. However, after a little over a month one of the buttons on the sleeve cuff fell off. Doesn't really affect the purpose of the coat but it'd be nice if a coat that costs $100+ would stay together completely for more than a month of moderate wear.
Good quality, but tight through shoulders.

Quality jacket but runs a little small through the shoulders. Iâm typically a 2/xs and Iâve returned the xs for a small. The jacket isnât lined but the material is substantial. Good to layer with a sweater in northern fall temps. Arm and body length is excellent for someone who is tall and has long arms.
Lightweight Raincoat

Had to return this coat. I normally purchase a xl in North Face wear, this coat was very roomy through the bust area and the arms were long for me. I am 5'4" and 160 lbs and purchased the xl. If it had fit it seemed like a nice lightweight rain jacket.
