Lightweight in warmth department too!

I'll start by saying the fit is nice and it sure is lightweight. I have no idea where the other reviewers live, but this coat is NOT suitable for a Midwestern or northeastern winter. I was a bit dubious as soon as I opened the package. It's lightweight alright. Feels like a thick windbreaker. I wore it outside at 20F (normal winter here) and could feel the cold seeping in immediately and I could especially feel in coming in through the stitching. It's not a complete down fill. Tag says 60% polyester and 40% down, and that the 40% is only 90%, meaning it's 35% down fill. I took a picture of the tag and will try to upload it. Another tag states something along the lines of "good to two degrees WITH moderate activity". Another line says it would be warmer if you layered something underneath. (Duh...)For this price point, I don't expect to have to provide extra layers or jog to stay warm.Return!
The Perfect Travel Jacket

I ordered this down coat a few days before we were expected to leave for a trip to japan. With Amazon Prime, it showed up on time. I wanted something light weight, warm, packable and flattering. This coat did the job. I ordered my normal size small and the fit was perfect, even with a heavy sweater underneath. Since I am only 5'3" tall the coat hit a little above my knees. I am glad it did since the Japan mornings got down to 35 degrees. With a sweater underneath, this coat kept my entire body and legs comfortably warm. Down coats are not typically flattering but because the down channels run diagonally the appearance is more slimming. My only small complaint was that the two side pockets don't have a zipper so I had to be mindful not to put anything in my pockets that I didn't want to slip out. I also wish it had an interior cell phone pocket. Despite these small annoyances, this Jacket still deserves 5 stars. It met all my expectations.

UPDATE: Two years later, and this coat still rocks. No signs of wear.Had no idea what to expect when ordering this coat, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a size XL, and it fits perfectly â I am 39â/33â/45â, 5â6â, 175 lbs. My recent trip to rural PA put this coat to the test, as temperatures reached around 7 degrees Fahrenheit. I started to get uncomfortable below 10 degrees F, but this jacket kept me warm for anything above that. Like any down coat, feathers come out every once and a while. All-in-all, it was a great deal for the price, and seems well made.
Winter in Wales

I packed this in an overnight case for a winter trip to Wales. Not one single complaint about the coat at all. It âsquishesâ to about the size of DOP kit and squeezes into any corner....open it up, shake it out, and itâs puffed to perfection. It was windy, rainy, cold and down to 27 degrees Fahrenheit...I had a sweater on underneath and, though usually the one who is always cold, I was just right. It is not a jacket... Iâm 4â10âand 105...usually wear a zero or 2...it fit to my mid thigh which kept my backside and upper legs out of the wind and cold. I zipped it up to the neck & used a scarf in the high wind, but Iâm especially protective of my throat as a vocalist. I got the slate which I thought would be gray, but it is a soft blue gray. I received compliments that the chevron didnât make it look like one of those puffed up marshmallow shapes. Hope this helps.

I received a completely different jacket! No CK label and the color doesn't resemble anything pictured!The jacket arrived on time, but upon further inspection the label in the inside says Wantdo...... I had to give 1 star also to leave this review. This is completely unacceptable.
Great urban coat

Fits well, and I like the midnight navy color. Long enough, yet not too long to be a good car coat. The chevron pattern is more slimming than horizontal designs. Pockets are large enough for gloves. This is a middle-of-the-scale-warmth down coat, light as any coat I've ever had, and good warmth for running errands, going to and from places by car, even in the coldest weather. It's fine for a couple of blocks in sub-zero weather to and from the parking garage and office. If you're going to be sitting in a below-zero stadium, or out for a long time, you need more insulation. But this one covers most of the brief urban outdoor uses during a midwest winter that varies from brisk to well below zero. For travel by plane from winter weather at home to the beach, it will take up little space, weigh almost nothing, and be perfect.

I just moved to Central Iowa and we recently had -40 degree weather. This coat had me nervous because it appears to be extremely thin but in all actuality it is super warm! It goes down to my knees and up to my nose if zipped all the way to the top, which helped when I was moving in that terrible weather. I would recommend this to anyone and might even get another in a different color.
Feathers everywhere

Feathers and "down lint" for lack of a better word shed from this coat nonstop. I would return it but my Amazon return window of time just closed and I missed it. I kept thinking the initial shedding would stop but it continues. You can see white feathers coming out of the seams -- I have a black coat so it's definitely noticeable. It sheds all over my black pants and sweaters. Friends in the car with me brush off their pants from feathers of my coat and a guy sitting at a restaurant table next to me looked at me annoyed and picked off feathers from his dress slacks. Embarrassing! Calvin Klein definitely put their label on an inferior product. I expected much more given the designer label and the price. A similar North Face or Columbia coat is only $40 more dollars but would be well worth the hassle of not shedding on your pants and outfits!

Es más ligera de lo que esperaba, aunque trae una etiqueta que dice -8 grados farenheit. El color es precioso pero cambia con el uso, el cuello absorbe toda la grasa y se hace oscuro con el uso. Me sorprendió que la etiqueta diga que no se debe lavar en seco ya que tiene relleno de plumas. Veremos qué le pasa cuando lo moje. Ojalá que no se hagan bolas.

The "mushroom" colour is actually taupe. The inside of the garment, which is not a real lining, is a stark scarlet, which I find quite repulsive when paired with taupe. Coat is 34 inches long (knee length for me), size is about right for a Small, except that the hip area is a very close fit even though I'm quite small in that region. Label says it's down-filled and suitable for -8 degrees Fahrenheit (-13 degrees Celsius). I wore the coat on a day when the temperature was positive 8 degrees Celsius and found it to be sufficiently warm but not overly warm. I won't be wearing the coat in near zero temperatures, even with a sweater inside. Overall, I'm not very excited with it, but will keep it because I bought at an incredibly low price, because it bears the Calvin Klein label, and because it is almost weightless and would be easy to pack into luggage. One final observation is that the material has been described as garbage bag material. That is quite unkind since the coat is designed to be packed into a miniscule bundle and the material is as expected. But I would avoid black colour or the garbage bag green colour.

El diseño está muy lindo, es ultra ligera y el tamaño perfecto! Mido 1.57 me llega justo arriba de la rodilla, pedà xs porq leà que las Tallas vienen reducidas y si, soy talla 4. Me encanto a ver que tal me cubre de frÃo en Europa

La chamarra es perfecta.Cubre el frÃo (aunque no súper intenso)Es muy liviana y si deseas guardarla muy ergonómica (cabe en el bolso)Sólo consideren que son tallas ligeramente amplias, pedi XS y me queda suelta. Asi que es ideal para usar un suéter grueso debajo (a mi eso me agradó).

I ordered the short jacket of this style in an XL and it is super tight on bust and hip. I decided to order a longer version and I am so glad I didn't go larger than 1X. The difference between the XL in regular sizes (I usually wear a L and sometimes an XL in regular sizes of Calvin Klein). The short jacket skimpiness in sizing spooked me. I wear the short one open now like a sweater and hope I lose weight. Okay now to the 1X in the Coat version. It is very room, very very loose through shoulders and bust, and fits just right through the hip. Wish it was a double zipper for sitting in the car, that is a minus Calvin Klein, at price point, it should have a double zipper. I am going to be able to super layer and wear bulky sweaters under the parka coat in the 1X. The jump in roominess between and XL in regular sizes to a 1X is astonishing. Thank heavens I took a chance on the 1X, because based on the XL in the shorter jacket (reg sizing) I was looking at buying a 3X. But they are really nice jacket and coat with the exception of the double zipper on the coat parka. Most parkas this length have double zippers for sitting.

Ich habe mir mehr erhofft von dieser Jacke und der Marke.Die Jacke wirkt recht billig und hat keine besonderen Features. Keine Innentaschen, keine ReiÃverschlüsse an den Taschen oder sonstigen Komfort. Dafür ist sie wirklich leicht!Sie war mir etwas zu lang. Ich bin nur 160 cm groà und ich hätte sie gern rund 20 cm kürzer gehabt, damit sie an der richtigen Stelle am Oberschenkel endet. So sah es leider etwas "reingeschossen" aus. Vorteil: Dadurch das sie länger ist, hält sie natürlich auch wärmer!Nun aber zum Umtauschgrund: Die Jacke verliert Federn und das nicht zu knapp. Ich hatte sie nur einmal einen Tag an und habe nicht nur an meinem Pullover unter der Jacke ohne Ende Federn gehabt (was recht unangenehm war, weil ich in einem Meeting aussah wie eine gerupfte Gans...) sondern auch den kompletten Autositz voller Federn. Das darf wirklich nciht sein! Vor allem nicht bei dem Preis! Da habe ich mir echt besseres drunter vorgestellt. Eine Freundin hat sich eine ähnliche Jacke in einem Discounter für geerade mal 25 ⬠gekauft und sie verliert keine Federn und hat mehr Komfort. Der Wärmegrad ist ähnlich...Absolut nicht empfehlenswert leider...

The jacket fit as expected!!!! The black color is shiny and not dull black as shown but I still like it. It is super light weight! It goes almost to my knees. Now it just needs to get colder so I can wear it!

La chamarra se ve elegante y si es 100% original pero no me convence completamente ya que todavÃa ni la utilizo y ya se le salió una pluma de ganzo y además viene un poco amplio, yo soy talla 6 y pedà talla S y me queda un poco grande aunque traiga un sweater. Además si está muy larga yo mido 1.65 m y me queda abajo de las rodillas.

Delivered 1 day before expected via Amazon Prime. Calvin Klein is quality product however the fit is 'fitted' and thought it would be more roomy than another Calvin Klein down coat I recently ordered. I should have ordered a size up to allow for loose clothing underneath. Plus not a double zipper which would improve for on bottom of coat for us curvier gals.

This coat was bought for travelling purposes. I will try it on my next trip coming up in July and again in November. Although it is a bit bigger, I have accepted it in order to wear heavier sweaters underneath. I have already bought a similar lighter one locally for 30$ A much lower price. This lightweight coat is very useful for travelling but not warm enough. So hopefully this new coat will be warmer. I just wish you coat would be cheaper.
