Wrong written size, but it FITS!?!

The look is fine, conservative and classic. The gauge of the material, both lining and outer are thinner than I had hoped for, but when you are shopping online you are gambling. The lining is a tad long in the arms and peaks out of the sleeve opening slightly, but it's nothing that I can't jerry-rig with a few precisely placed safety pins. I ordered a size 6 but received a size 10. I am uncertain as to that being a UK/USA sizing issue/discrepancy or what? I can fit into it and there is more than enough play throughout the arms and body to layer multiple garments underneath. I am 5'6" and weigh 123#'s. The neck closure fits appropriately, so a size 6 probably would have been too small in the end, maybe they were aware of the garment size variation and sent the 10? I am going to keep it, because it does look lovely and nothing and no one is perfect. First warm day over 50°, I will be sporting my new duds, with a nice warm suit underneath
