Nice slim fit to wear as a thin layer while hiking. Not too bulky to wear under a jacket. Arms are snug and the torso area is a little loose/ relaxed fit. Length hits the hip area and doesn't ride up.

I ordered this NorthFace full zip jacket as a companion to a similar one I already had. I bought a large because I currently have a large in the other one. It arrived in decent time but the fit is very big. I read the size chart and based my decision off of that as well as my other jacket and unfortunately it just did not fit like my older Northface.The color is beautiful (I ordered the mauve/purple), however the stitching across the front, above the pockets is awkward. The fit is rather awkward. The arms are very baggy. If you are between sizes I recommend sizing down to get a more fitted, attractive look. If you want it to be baggy then go off the measurement chart.I would not buy it again because this particular style and fit did not suit me.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it!! Very comfortable and soft and she looks great in it. Can't go wrong with North Face.
Warm Jacket

I wear this jacket almost everyday out here in the cold winter in Afghanistan (deployment). It keeps me warm !
Lightweight and good for layering

Fits well, nice and soft. It is good quality, but I thought that it would have been slightly heavier. Good, light jacket that will layer well.

Good quality. Nice fit. Can be used as liner for a thin jacket. (Make sure jacket is slightly larger.)
