Love the COLOR! but dark down pieces show through :(

Love this bright yellow color but a few of the goose down pieces in this Jena jacket and the Jena vest are dark and they show through the yellow which makes it looks like dirty spots. I found a way to hopefully eliminate the dark down pieces by putting it in the dryer with a tennis ball on "air dry-no heat" for a few minutes. When I examine it afterwards, I gently move the dark pieces around so they aren't as noticeable. Note: some jackets/vests have more dark spots than others. I kept the jacket but sent the vest back as there were too many dark spots showing. Marmot's quality control folks apparently missed this serious issue -- Marmot is known for high quality products and this issue was very disappointing to me.

I have this jacket in Plum XL and I love it - but it's wearing, has campfire holes in it and it's getting bigger as I'm getting smaller. I bought the seafoam blue, but this time I ordered L one size down due to weight loss. (Now I'm 5'1 150lbs) I should have stuck with the XL to make it roomy, it's a bit tight across the bum, which i kind of expected, but also very small across the chest-which I hadn't counted on. IT's a great jacket, keeps me warm in snow, you can't go wrong with the jacket - just get the right size.
Snug in the waist especially over a sweater.

Nice and light. I agree with the reviewer who said itâs a bit snug in the waist. Iâm 5â6, 137 lbs and got a medium. The size is correct - just a bit small at the waist.
The perfect down jacket

My favorite down jacket yet. Sized for a female frame. Incredibly lightweight; high quality down; packable in suitcases or for camping); warm without being overbearing.I reside in a warm climate and don't desire a bulky jacket, but I still need warmth for cold winter mornings and trips. This works out perfectly.

I live in southeastern Maine, so I thought when I got this jacket it would probably be a fall and spring kind of jacket, but it's so, so warm that I easily wore it throughout the winter and very cold days. I only wore my heavier down jacket when it was windy or precipitating because I needed a hood. It's so light and streamlined - and so chic looking! But the down fill must be magical, because you will be nice and toasty despite how lightweight it is. I love this jacket, and I am sold on Marmot as a coat maker. I'm probably going to save up for a knee length one next.

The waist fits small. I'm not a large person (size 4-6) and I bought a medium so I could wear layers underneath. The medium gives me less than an inch to zip around my waist. The rest of the jacket fits true to size.
