Great jacket and well made!

This jacket fits as expected, well made, color is great, thought it would be super warm but works best layered for really cold days. If you are purchasing for extreme cold activities it must be used as a layer it is definitely not warm enough in 15 degree weather as a stand alone. Would recommend buying as a great all around coat.
Seriously my favorite jacket EVER

I love this jacket! I was hesitant to spend the money on it, but I am so glad that I made the leap. It is amazingly warm for such a thin jacket. It is fairly waterproof, even with the stretchy side panels. Water beads up on the material and is easily shaken off. The inside of the pockets are lined with a soft fleece material, awesome. I am tall and have long arms, so most jackets do not have the length of sleeves I need. However, this jacket somehow keeps my wrists covered at all times. I like the fit around the body - it isn't too snug, but it isn't loose either. You won't become a shapeless mass while wearing it.I honestly can not say enough good things about this jacket.Con: while the hood fits snugly and keeps me toasty warm, I am not thrilled with the shape of it. My friend told me I looked like the tip of a condom while wearing the hood, now that's all I can think about when I put it on. I avoid wearing the hood in public, Haha!
I LOVE this jacket

I LOVE this jacket, it is so very comfortable. The perfect weight, feel, fit, and I fully endorse this jacket for people with long arms. I live in the mountains of NC and the weather changes drastically, one day snow and the next it's 65 and sunny. This jacket is perfect for chilly mornings and nights outside. I have not worn it in the rain yet, however I have turned the shower on with it and the water whisks away and does not saturate the jacket (it wasn't exposed for a long period of time). I often fall asleep in this jacket as well, I could compare it to a soft hug all night long. The hood does look appealing but it is fully functional giving you extra room for a hat, bun, sunglasses, helmet or you can tighten the cord and it draws up reducing the unused space (just not very attractive, but it's about functionality not fashion). The oceanus color is more on the the green / turqoise side of things, I still like it but it was not at all like in the picture. I myself am not going to return something because of the color but someone may. And the hood, if you're a fashionista and dont care about function then maybe consider something else.
Great Find! this is the BEST running jacket ever made!

I had been looking for the best running jacket for years. It was only about a week ago when my co worker told me about this jacket. I looked up the reviews and right away, I was convinced so I ordered it. 3 days later, I got it in the mail. I was a little doubtful at first because looking into it and just feeling the fabrics, I said to myself there is NO way this can do the job. Well, the next day, the temperature went down to the 20 degrees and I tell you, I had one layer of nike long sleeves shirt and this jacket and on my run, I was already boiling! It was great. The jacket is so light, fits perfect and it moves with you, no restraining to whatever part of my body and it feels like as if I'm not wearing a jacket! This is great!
Wonderful layering piece

Great jacket. Suitable for cool weather as outer layer and for layering under heavier pieces when cold. Breathes well and quality construction throughout- sleeves are wonderful and fully articulated for full range of motion. There is nothing I don't like about this piece but some of the colors- I have it in a few colors but find I wear the black nearly exclusively. I find I need the atom ar for temps below 30.
Tailored, lightweight, with a great-fitting hood

I LOVE this jacket. I'm 5'8" and about 140 lbs and bought an earlier version of this jacket in a M. It was just a tad snug around the hips so I gave that one to my daughter and bought this version in a large. The material has more "give" in this version and a medium would probably have been fine, but I like the little extra room in the large. The jacket is tailored at the waist and the little flare at the hips feels nice and looks more flattering when it's not snug. The color is great, the details around the cuffs keep the cold out and this jacket weighs absolutely nothing. But the best thing, by far, is the hood. For whatever reason, hoods just don't stay on my head and creep back or blow off. The bungee design on this one goes all the way around your hairline back to front, so the hood fits like a glove and stays put. This is by far my favorite jacket. Ever. Highly recommended.
Best jacket ever!

The best jacket I own! I live in New Zealand so Arc'teryx can be hard to come by, luckily I am married to a Canadian. I have a men's medium of this jacket from a sample sale but really wanted a women's version that fit my body shape better.I am 5'11 and a US size 6 (NZ 10-12) so I find it hard to get women's clothing long enough while fitting correctly. Though I would like the body of this jacket to be a little longer, the arms are perfect and it fits perfectly elsewhere! Finally a brand with long enough sleeves for my lanky frame (if only you made longer pants too!).I wear this jacket around town and out in the mountains and it works perfectly for both!I have read that people don't find this jacket very hard wearing but I have had my men's version for two years, wearing it 5 days a week at work (as a mountain/climbing/hiking instructor) and it is still in excellent condition with no tears in it even after hiking off trail through thick bush and taking multiple whippers climbing. I am confident the women's fit will be equally as hardy.
Best coat I've found.

Best coat I've ever owned. Lightweight yet warm, easy to clean, and rain repellent. Traveled up the inside passage of Alaska and along the Aleutian Island chain where they get plenty of misty rainy weather and had no issues staying dry and warm.

Great colour and a really comfy lightweight down jacket to use in layering with other jackets. I have used this a lot either just under a waterproof or with an extra fleece underneath for really cold conditions, but usually you don't need it. Toasty warm!
