great parka for PNW late autumn

Size down! Unless you are planning to wear lots of layers underneath definitely size down. I own lots of clothing made by Fjallraven and there are generally 2 categories: 1) those which fit as a glove 2) enormously huge. I always order the same size and this is the latter case. Ordered S first - simply enormous in the hips and waist, even cinching doesn't help. Ordered XS - still a little roomy in the hips but it looks fine. The fabric is NOT G1000 (they don't say it is but sometimes people just assume that it's going to be G1000) so you cannot wax it. It is supposed to be water repellant but I sprayed it with Colonill just in case. Lots of nice pockets, roomy hood, great quality, just as expected from Fjallraven. Thanks again for a great new product and thank you Outland for selling it at compatible price during Black Friday!
