Dislike the Knotted rope cord you canât remove

Love the color. Fits larger than the artic parka 2. Had issues with the bottom zipper getting stuck. Not a fan of the chest zipper. What I disliked the most was the knotted rope/cord around the waist which was placed inbetween the outer shell and inner lining and totally nonfunctional since it canât be adjusted or removed. Think north face could have used something else like elastic to shape the waist which I assume they achieved with the artic parka 2. Also this downtown parka is no longer available on northface.com which means itâs probably a discontinued style since itâs not on backorder. If you have dogs and own kong knotted rope toys be aware-my dog was attracted to the hidden rope/cord when I placed it on the sofa. Returned for purchase of the artic parka 2. Buyer also beware that Amazon changed its refund policy. It is no longer âyour refund will be processed once we receive your return.â Amazon now requires you to wait 2 wks for processing of return after it is received before your refund is issued. Maybe they need to hire more staff to process returns more quickly.
Big difference between the large and XL.

It seemed like a nice, warm insulated coat. Although, I ordered an XL and it was way too huge. Iâm normally an XL in coats, so this really surprised me. Anyways, I went to the store in town and tried on the large and it was too tight with a sweatshirt on. The large also wasnât very form fitting around my hips. For reference, I am 5â8 and 205.âif you still want to purchase a North Face coat, I recommend looking at the Womenâs Arctic Parka II. This particular style fit so much better. I also went with the XL in that design.Hopefully this helps :)
Is North Face going down hill?

This jacket is going back.It seems that what I have received is not up to North Face quality standard. The material feels bad and it is just now comfortable.I got this from a 3 rd party seller though. I guess I will only buy North Face from Amazon sold or from itâs official web site from now on.

Sizing Is Inconsistent In Coat Styles

The sizing of the North Face Downtown coat runs larger than other North Face styles that I tried on in stores. Nice coat, but I had to return it because it was too big.

My daughter will use this jacket to go outside and play with her toddler...She wanted something warm and light weight, and she loves the way it fits.
