Raincoat has pretty much everything I want at a decent price

I ordered four different raincoats through Amazon in prep for travel overseas. To my surprise, this one was my favorite. The weight of the coat is just right - not too heavy, not too light. The hood fits well without crushing my hair and will definitely stay up in gusts of wind. The sleeve lengths are generous. They do have velcro adjusters at the bottom, which I could do without, but I can also live with them. The zipper is sturdy. An extra tab at the top of the zipper blocks winds on my neck when the coat is fully zipped. The two side pockets have zippers, which will help keep things secure. I am 5'6", wear a US size 18, and ordered this in an XXL so that I can layer underneath. It fits well without feeling oversized; no tugging across the back. I layered with a fleece jacket and long-sleeved shirt, and there is ample room for another layer or two if needed.

This pretty average waterproof jacket is overpriced, in my opinion.Itâs not fitted and roomie, but tight in breast area. Sleeves are too long. If I raise my hands, the whole jacket goes up. Overall the fit is poor.

I ordered this coat without knowing what others thought, which felt a bit like taking a risk. However, the description fit pretty much everything I was looking for - including the bright red color, which is essential in rain and muted light when crossing the street or just facing the elements! In Northern California we recently had what was described as an "atmospheric river" - not exactly the storm we all hoped for but certainly enough to hopefully lessen the threat of fire in the coming year. This coat - with it's perfect fit over warm clothes, water resistant surface, great zippers that actually work and numerous other features - kept me warm and dry. I do recommend it!!

As others have said, this is a good raincoat, but it is not designed to keep you warm - which is perfect for me since I live in a mild-weather climate. I bought an XXL even though I normally wear an XL. It is a little large but offers plenty of room to wear layers on colder days. Iâm 5â5â and the sleeves are bit long so this jacket would be good for taller ladies. When I pull the drawstring, it creates a waist a just the right level. This detail gives a bit of added style to the jacket. Iâve received a number of compliments on it-mostly due to its cheery aqua color.

I LOVE this jacket! Itâs just as described and keeps you warm and dry. Iâm 5â0â and weigh about 225 lbs so the XXL is the size I picked. Itâs slightly large but itâs nice for layering. It kept me dry standing outside in the pour down rain for 30+ minutes. I love the fact that you can adjust the size of the waist, hood and wrists. The waist fit me alright but the arms were insanely long (as is true with most larger items...I guess clothing manufacturers assume Iâm a gigantic wacky inflatible man) so it was nice to be able to adjust them. It also packs up very nicely. I folded it down small and stowed it in my purse and it wasnât wrinkled at all when I took it back out. I will definitely be purchasing one for our upcoming Disney World trip!

I love this raincoat! Very much a waterproof item, not super breathable so if your looking for one with a lining this might suffice, body heat will keep inside nice and warm. Have worn it in heavy rain twice and kept perfectly dry. Good pockets, perfect hood design kept even my bangs dry! Nice for the price and just what I need!

The outer material feels like a polyester shell (which it is) and the inner lining has a very soft smooth rubbery texture. It feels like it will really be waterproof. I am 5â6â, 160 lbs, smaller chest, and I ordered a large. There is room for me to wear a sweatshirt under it and the size feels pretty good.Two things I donât like: the zipper comes almost up to my bottom lip and is fairly rigid, so you can either not use the hood and leave it open 4 inches, or zip it all the way up, use the hood, and figure out how to poke your face out. If you zip it most of the way, it stands straight up so it might as well be zipped closed.The hood is not deep enough. If Iâm wearing a ponytail, the hood doesnât cover the front of my hair by several inches. I took my ponytail out and replaced it with a braid. Then the hood just barely reaches the front of my face. I am covered, but only just barely. It feels like the hood is slipping back and I never am fully protected from rain in my face. With how serious the zipper and top of the coat are, I expected the hood to be bigger and better.The true test: is it waterproof?I wore this coat to clean out the chicken coop in the rain (Portland Oregon). A medium steady rain, but NOT pouring/beating/blowing rain. I wore the front unzipped about 4 inches (past my collarbone but not up my neck) and the hood down. After an hour, it felt very humid inside and I could feel my body heat trapped inside helping keep me warm. After 2 hours, I knew I was a little wet in some areas, but I wasnât cold. After 3 hours, the shell was a darker color on my arms, shoulders and front, like it had started to absorb water instead of repel it. I finished my job and took off the jacket. My top shirt underneath was wet around the back, shoulders and chest. The shirt underneath was dry. I was not drenched to the bone but I wasnât dry either. I might have been dryer had I zipped it further (but I couldnât work with the zipper up to my mouth) and used the hood. So Iâd say it did a great job there.The fit of the hood is my biggest complaint. I am rarely going to be in the rain for 3 hours without a hood up like I was for the test, so that was acceptable. I mostly want a raincoat for taking walks (under an hour) and this will suffice.

Another good Amazon Essentials product! This jacket fits really well. I originally ordered an XXL because I have the down-alternative coat in that size and it fits great. In this jacket, the XXL was WAY too big. I returned for the XL and that size fits perfect. I have enough room to layer a sweater or sweatshirt underneath but itâs not so large that Iâm swimming in it. Iâm 5â3â with regular sized limbs. The overall length is about mid-thigh and sleeve length is good. The hood doesnât hang down in my eyes. I ordered the turquoise color and I really like it. 10/10 would recommend.

This raincoat is just what I needed; a lightweight shell that I can layer warm essentials underneath. It is unlined, so you'll want to wear long sleeves with it as you may not like the rubbery texture on your skin. The inside elastic cords allow for the waist to be cinched for a more polished look but as is, it is cut with a more relaxed, loose fit. The hood fits my head perfectly but can also be cinched for a tighter fit. The wrists have an adjustable Velcro tab to loosen or tighten the cuff.The fit is true to size for a relaxed cut, and I can wear a thick fleece or hooded sweatshirt and still move without issue. I'm 5'2" and this comes to mid-thigh in the front and a few inches longer in the back (dove tail style). This is exactly what I was looking for, as my other raincoat left me with wet thighs since it was cut just past the hip.It does a great job at keeping me dry. With our recent Vancouver rain I've worn this in a major downpour and was not wet at all. I was a bit skeptical as it's much lighter than all of my past raincoats but this material really repels water, unlike others which are just treated nylon and eventually wear off.The large zippered pockets are a bonus; and I can keep my keys, card wallet and phone in them without issue. Overall, a good purchase.I would like to see some other colours available in the future. Maybe a grey or a purple/blue?

Ive been searching for a longer rain jacket under $100 for a few months now and haven't found one. This one is PERFECT! Probably my favourite thing I've ordered from amazon over the years! The length is perfect, the navy is really pretty, and the quality is great. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that the pocket zippers feel cheap. The main zipper is really good quality so in comparison the pocket zippers aren't as good but with that said, I've worn the jacket for a few weeks and I've had no issues with them. A really great jacket, especially for the price!

Fits true to size. Pockets are deep and zippered, which I didn't realize - nice feature. Haven't used it in the rain yet. It is unlined - sort of a vinyl finish inside, not terribly thick so you may need long sleeves under. But I think this will be a good spring/fall raincoat. Nice and long on me - will probably cover your behind when you sit.

bonsoir l'imperméable n'est pas conforme à ce que j'attendais : car l'intérieur il est fourré d'un revêtement type pvc noir - ce qui fait transpirer donc vous avez froid après... et pas du tout confortable - je regrette mon achatbien cordialement
