Great Looking, Bad Zipper

Purchased this jacket in NAVY XS for my 5'4" 117 lb daughter. It is quite fitted, but not too tight - looks really great on (note: she tried on a small in a store & it looked too puffy, particularly around the hips). I was concerned when the jacket arrived rolled up and stuffed into a plastic bag, however the fabric was barely wrinkled when unpacked. The fabric is canvas-like and the texture is more noticeable in the gray color than in black and navy. The navy is quite dark contrasting only slightly with the black fur - IMO, this enhances the jacket's look.The jacket has a few cons 1) the zipper is ridiculously difficult - it takes getting used to and the pull tab is too small and 2) the fur on the hood is not nearly as thick & luxurious as pictured nor as the jackets that we saw in a store - based on other Moose Knuckles jacket reviews on Amazon (see men's), I'm wondering if Amazon gets the bottom of the heap as far as the fur is concerned.
Heavy, quality construction, so warm.

Impeccable, sturdy construction. Despite being a heavy coat, has a bit of style with the fitted cut and fox fur details. Was in DC on a very windy, 30 degree day, and was the only one not cold... at all. Be prepared to feel a bit cinched up if you buy your normal size. Iâm not kidding when I say itâs very fitted. Itâs not uncomfortable, but some may not like how close it fits. I noticed some reviews that say people had a hard time with the zipper. You have to make sure youâve pulled the side of the zipper that you insert into the carrier side down hard enough. If itâs not fully seated, it will not zip up (like any zipper). The zipper is heavy duty, and starts low on your body in this longer parka, so properly managing the zipper may feel difficult at first. Construction of this coat is so tough, I canât imagine not having it in twenty years. Real quality. One heads upâif you have a playful kid tall enough to reach the dangling pom-poms, or a playful partner, etc., etc....be prepared to be fending off pom-pom assaults. Frequently.

I really like this coat so far. It's nicely fitted so it's shapely, and heavy-duty too. Though it's not overly bulky I've been out in sub-zero weather and not been cold, and the length is perfect. The only issue for me is that the zipper starts so low that it's hard for me to reach down and get the ends matched to start it going. But I'm happy with it otherwise and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.

I just moved from the West Coast to New England and needed a coat that would get me through the winters here. This is exactly what I was looking for, and has been totally worth the price. The coat is incredibly warm and well made with sturdy zippers and hardware, and looks really stylish to boot. I get compliments nearly every time I wear it. You can tell that this is a legit Moose Knuckles coat because of the cool holographic tag on the inside.I wasn't a huge fan of the pom poms when I saw them online, but in person I like them. I like that this coat stands out from the sea of Canada Goose parkas I see around here in winter. Everything on this coat is high quality including the fur which is super soft. My boyfriend bought the men's version of this coat and it's just as great as this one.

Good looking coat but is very heavy and lots of metal. Also runs at least one size smaller. I'm usually small in coats and this one has to be one size larger
