Poor design

I love this jacket. It is very comfortable, lightweight and a great length. Iâm 5â7 and it hits me right above the knees, which is perfect. Itâs warm and stylish, I wear it a lot.HOWEVER - I gave this jacket only 3 stars because of a major design flaw - the hood.The hood is attached with a row of cheap, flimsy tiny little snaps, NOT the quality I expect and usually find from The North Face. I almost returned the jacket for this point alone, but I loved everything else about the fit so I kept it. The hood comes off every day, multiple times, itâs aggravating. Go to pull the hood up and it comes off; pick up the jacket by the hood, it comes off; hang it over your chair and sit back against it, the hood comes off; forget hanging on a hook by the hood...at this point Iâm considering sewing it on just so I donât lose it.

Great coat just like always with North Face. Fits perfectly. Warm and not to thick. I want to buy another one in different color. Arrived in two days in great condition.

This jacket is exactly what I wanted to have. It is size XL little bit big but I wanted to have like it is. I am very happy

Coat is warm but it sheds so much. Iâm not sure if the quality of the north face has depleted but I definitely feel like a wilting bird walking around in this coat. I give it 3 stars because it fits as displayed and is very warm in frigid temperatures

Toasty. I like this coat! I am 5'1 and 115 lb. I got a small and it is still roomy enough if I wanted to wear a bulkier underlayer. Two way zip is nice. The only thing I'd add is a toggle for the bottom for super windy days and a thumbhole sleeve. I've actually had to remove it or unzip it because I got very warm. Other than that it is perfect. Oh, the detachable hood does have a toggle. I just haven't had to use it yet. I mistakenly said that it did not when someone asked.

I love this! Nicely secure packaging. Coat is sleek looking and itâs warm. Very lightweight. Wore it for first time yesterday, it was cold and windy out and I was good in this.

I wanted to update my Northface that Iâve had for many many years. It truly served me well and is still in working condition but is starting to show signs of wear. I am from the Midwest and am currently living elsewhere, but that Midwest foundation allows me to understand the importance of a good sturdy and warm coat.I purchased the small last year and returned it because it seemed too small around the midsection. This year I got the medium and it looks shapeless on me. Iâm 5â3 and about 120. I wore a sweater under the small and this year I wore a sweatshirt under the medium.Also, this coat seems lighter than the old version. I guess that could be an indication of technological advancements and not less warmth. They are the same down fill. The zipper on the older coat is metal and this one is plastic. Iâm a little disappointed in that but maybe that too makes it lighter and doesnât mean it wonât last as long.So now Iâm contemplating ordering it again in a small. Or keeping what I have and getting over it. Itâs a coat and itâll (hopefully) keep me warm. Or maybe Iâll look for another coat.Love Northface, just need to process this.

Ãberall kamen die Daunen raus. Das war wirklich schade. Ansonsten war der Parka sehr schön.
