Order UP at least 2 sizes

So, the sizing of these is way off or the other jeans I am buying are using vanity sizing. I purchased a variety of jeans in various brands in my usual size for stretch jeans which is a 4 or 2. I had to buy a size 8 in these. I started with a size 6 that was way too tight--especially in the legs which is odd as I have thin legs, no butt, no hips. Also, these vary by fabric. The white were very tight and the fabric had buckles in the legs due to tightness in both size 6 and size 8 but I kept the 8. The dark blue were fine in the legs and everywhere else and very comfortable and didn't fall down when I bent over (with a belt). The white were too tight in the legs and little big in the waist probably because I had to order up 2 sizes to get the legs to fit. They are overall nice jeans although they are borderline jeggings in my opinion. The dark blue is very soft and comfortable.So, order UP for sure at least 1 size. Again, I am a size 4 and needed an 8 in these.I am a size 4-6, with a tummy, small butt, no hips and thin legs. I usually order a size 4 in jeans with stretch but I ordered these in a size 6. I had a bit of trouble pulling them on, but they fit ok in the waist--a bit tight. I am short-waisted and these are high rise on me--up to belly button. However, the legs were unusually tight on me which is odd since I have thin legs. You could see the lines on the back and front of legs as material was too tight. The length was good for me, I am tall 5.8 and they hit about 4 inches above my ankle. However, they felt more like jeggings to me and I wanted more of a jean pant that were comfortable and I could be somewhat active in. I ordered them again in size 8 and they were easier to pull on and less tight in the leg, but still very tight. The waist was ok, maybe a bit big in the larger size, but the tightness in the legs and weight of fabric pulls the jean down (and possibly my poufy tummy and no hips, contributed, lol). So, I can't keep the white up on their own but will wear with a belt. Note, I ordered 3 other pairs of jeans other brands in size 4 and they all fit fine so the sizing on these may be a bit off. I ordered these in white and regent blue and had the same issues with both.Edited to say: I washed these and they came out great. cold water, low heat dry.Pictures show the tightness in the legs--keep in mind I am wearing a size 8 and my usual size is 2-4.

Best Jeans I ever purchased!! Fit, stretch, look - all excellent. I like a jean that has stretch and these really do and it makes them so comfortable.
