Deceptive, bait-and-switch product

It's clear to me that this product is NOT the original NYDJ. First, I ordered it in my usual size 14. It was HUGE. It was advertised as a Clarissa style, but it was an Alina. I returned it for a size 12. Still, not a great fit. Again, it was an Alina style, NOT a Clarissa. This bothered me but not enough to send it back. Then I noticed a SIGNIFICANT problem. The NYDJ brand is made in the USA. THESE were made in Mexico. On the site, it says "made in US." I wonder which "US" they are talking about. This is deceptive practices, and someone at Amazon should look into it. Now, I'm suspicious about ordering ANY clothing on Amazon.
Not Clarissa! These are Alina, the lame replacement for Clarissa

NYDJ has replaced the Clarissa jeans with another style called "Alina". This is the third time I've ordered Clarissa pants at 3 different sites online and received Alina. I suppose NYDJ thinks you won't notice. Alina has a slimmer calf, a waist that is different (it gaps in the back for me), and are a bit stretchier. They don't fit me at all, in fact they fit so poorly that they give me a backache. If you are hooked on Clarissa you won't be getting that here.

LOVE NYDJ and particularly the Clarissa stylet! This color, fabric and style is just perfect for me. I am 5'1", but don't buy PETITE in this style because I want them a bit longer than Ankle and the 28-29" inseam of the REGULAR is perfect for that. I have MANY pairs in multiple colors and they are fantastic and wear well. As with most NYDJ styles, I size 1-size down from my usual size.
Expensive but Worth It

Way too expensive but I like them which means I'll wear them so ... the value is there. You really do have to buy one size smaller than you normally wear. I made the mistake of buying a pair in my size and that was $100 down the drain because I wore them a few times before I realized they were not going to shrink at all and they are way too baggy in the legs. Ugh.

Seem to be decent quality, I haven't worn them yet so can't attest to wear.They run overall small in width and length, but the fabric stretches quite a bit. The waist doesn't stretch as much so if you have a small waist proportionately, these will probably fit you. The fabric is also thin, so they're not a cold weather jean.
The perfect jeans for booties!!

I am in LOVE with these jeans!!! They fit absolutely perfect and were exactly what I was looking for. I'm 5'3 (135lb) and it's extremely hard finding jeans that are short enough to wear booties. Most jeans are too long and I hate having to hem them or cuff/roll them. These jeans hit me perfect at the ankle and are perfect to wear with booties.The 'Exclusive Lift Tuck Technology' kind of sounded like a joke, but I seriously feel like these jeans made me look much skinnier than I really am!! LOL I love them, will definitely buy another pair.
Too snug

I have a pair of NYDJ legging-style jeans in the same size (two years old) -- these were much tighter/narrower cute through the legs, way tighter than my heavier leggings jeans. I think they changed the way they cut them. Returned. I did like the fabric color. I am going to try the straight cut next. I also purchase the cuffed Capri jeans in the same size which fit quite well. I am a curvy, 148 lbs, 5"6"

The best jean for my short body, fit is great, I do not always buy a "size smaller" as I am small enough already. No matter what style I buy they fit perfect, just can't use the long jeans, have to go to petite for those...

These jeans look and feel great. A tad on the expensive side for some models/sizes so it would be great for all sizes to be priced the same (I had to return first pair for a smaller size and the same style was $60 more!! Needless to say I went with a different pair!)
