Great jeans, though not a true petite

I just got these jeans and I already love them. The pair I got do not have any smell and, while they do run a bit bigger than other DL1961 styles, the brand actually often runs about a size small, so these are more in line with how other designer brands fit me. They are very stretchy and comfortable, and the petite length hits just at my ankle bone (I'm about 5'3.5").
Cute yet smelly...

Ok, so these are really really stretchy, and run larger than the Emma legging, and in fact are more legging like than the emma legging, I could have sized down 2 sizes, since they stretch so much. The big reason for the low rating, is that these smell horrible, even after washing twice, they smell like plastic, I am not sensitive to smells, but these reek, I wish I had returned them.

I'm 504/145 and these fit great, in fact I have received a number of compliments. I feel great wearing them, but what sets them apart from all the other jeans I have is that they dont lose their shape. I can take them on a trip and wear them numerous times and they still fit perfectly. I dont often give a 5 but these deserve it.
