Better than expected! So excited to find jeans that actually fit my slim legs, flat butt and round belly!!! I immediately ordered two more pair. All other jeans have huge legs, are for big butts and tight at waist. These are wonderful, feel and look great on this 5" tall, 71 year young granny.

The first thing I have to say about these jeans is, the horrible petroleum smell. I couldn't get water to absorb into the fabric, while in the washing machine. So...I put them in the shower and sprayed them heavily with very warm water. The water beaded up and rolled right off the fabric, which indicated to me, that there was a lot of petroleum product in them. Next, I put them in the tub with hot water, and laundry soap. I soaked them for a couple hours, before I could get any water to penetrate the jeans. I have washed them three times now and they still have a odd chemical smell. As far as the fit, I do find myself having to pull them up from time to time. They seem to slide down occasionally. Possibly, I bought them too big, but I don't believe so. The fit is very snug and then fabric stretches/gives, because of the spandex. The knees don't stretch out and bag throughout the course of the day and they are just the right length for me. I'm 5' 1" and they come right down to the top of my foot. I liked them and the bargain that I got, so much so, that I bought 2 in gray and 3 in chambray, right before the price went back up. I got all of mine for less than $20 a pair and I see that they are about $50 now. I definitely won't be buying any more at that price. I think that they're worth $20 to $25 but not $50 I can buy jeans that I like better, that fit better and that don't stink for $50 a pair elsewhere.

Second pair and I love them. So flattering without looking like "grandma" pants. I carry my weight in the middle (apple shape) so it is hard to find jeans that fit the waist and the hips. Usually too big or to small in one of the areas but these work. The fit is definitely based on body type not weight. Keep in mind that these have quite a bit of stretch around lower tummy but if you have chunky legs or are a "pear" shaped, this may not be the style for you. I normally wear a size 10P in pants and the medium were true. I have worn with Chuck sneakers, loafers and cuffed with booties. Color is true to picture.

I've worn them two times and they fit beautifully. Other people have said they look like "mom jeans"..... they say they're too baggy in the thigh and backside. I feel they're perfect. They fit snug but they're not overly sexy. I wouldn't want them to be. You can dress them up or down. They're wonderfully COMFORTABLE! I'll buy another pair.

They are comfortable. But they do not fit snug at the legs. They are big around the legs, not tight at all. So in this photo you can see how snug they are around her legs all the way down to her ankles. This is misleading. They are much bigger than the photo shown. Still I like them though.
True denim jeans

I have been searching the stores for black jeans for some time and can't find any that are actually jeans. Most are made like jeans but are not denim.I have a pair of these Ruby Road jeans in blue, so I was happy to see that Amazon had them in black. They are actually made from denim and are a deep black color, unlike the pre-washed, faded look. I am 5'2" and bought the petite jeans. They are about an inch too long for me, but if I wear them with boots or clogs, they are fine. They may shrink some after washing. They have spandex in them so are somewhat form-fitting. If you don't like that, you may want to buy them one size larger.

I hoped these would be a good substitute for the absurdly expensive JAG jeans. They're not. While the Ruby Rd. pants I got for work are great, but these are, as another reviewer noted, huge in the legs. Definitely grandma jeans - though, as you might expect, they're super comfortable. If that's all you're looking for, these are a good bet, but if you're looking for the sweet spot where comfy and cute meet, keep searching. Me, I'm returning these.
expect chaffing / chub rub/ rash

These jeans fit me and i liked that they came in a petite size however within 5 minutes of walking in them, I felt the chub rub rash coming. I would have missed my bus to class if I turned around to change pants so I kept walking. I went to class feeling annoyed by the chaffing and just wanted to go home and change. Ofcourse, after class I had to walk to the bus stop. The bus was full so I had the choice of waiting 40 minutes or walking to a different bus stop which has more frequent bus times. I walked 15 minutes to that bus stop and the chaffing was horrible. I finally got home to change pants but the rash was these. Ofcourse my dog needed a walk so walking with a rash for the next 40 minutes was tjust the cherry on top of the shit cake. Instead of donating these pants, I'm throwing them in the trash where they belong.

I really love these jeans! The fit me perfectly and the high waist sits straight and doesnât roll. I would definitely purchase more pants from this brand.

I went by the amazon petite size measurements and ordered a size 10P thinking that it will be a waist 27.5. But the product was an actual size ten(waist 29) and since it's supposed to be high waist , it's huge! The material and the finish are OK i guess.
