Very nice jeans but maybe not for all-day wear

I must admit, these look fantastic, nice and dark--very slimming--and comfy. They are fitted enough to wear in lieu of those legging the under-thirty set think are pants, and they dress up or down. I am withholding a star because after a couple of hours, they start to slip and need to be hoisted back up onto my hips. Maybe they need a drawstring on top?

I bought a size 4 jeans. There is not much stretch in the jeans. Once you get them on they are comfy, but there is quite a pull to get them on and off, and I do not have large hips. If there was a little more stretch, they would be perfect. They are not the jeans you want to have on if you are out shopping and trying clothes on, or running to the restroom quick.

Weird pouchy fit in upper thigh and the topstitching on the seam makes it almost impossible to narrow without a ton of work. I am not particularly lean in that area either. So I save these to wear with tunics. This is my second pair--the first didn't fit this way, obviously. Wish I knew if this was an irregularity because I love the flat, zipperless front. So I give them three stars--they are nicely made otherwise and I like the fabric.

I returned these because the petite size 4 was about 4 inches too long. That is not petite. They also fit tight in the hips down the legs to the bottom flare. If I had cut them and shortened to a true petite the shape would have been lost and turned into a straight leg. I have not had trouble with other brands in length that are petite.

I was so excited about these and really wanted to love them. I am 5'2", 125, and got the 4petite. They are just really tight in the waist and the band comes up too high. I was hoping for a pair of comfortable jeans. But honestly, most of my jeans with zippers are more comfortable than these. I think if I went up a size, they would be baggy. Plus, the crotch was too high/short.

Oh, it's so embarrassing, but i LOVE these pants. They are so so so comfortable. I like how light and soft the fabric is. The petite length is perfect. I often find that petites are just a tad too short, but these are not. For size reference, I take a 2 in regular pants at Gap or Banana. I take a 0 in NYDJ pants. And I fit into a 4P in these pants.

I love the ease; no zipper and button! The waist is a little big, but I wear my tops untucked, so no problem.The hips and legs are a comfortable fit, they washed well on delicate and dried on low.I am super-short, so I took off about 2 inches to hem. Have worn several times. Comfortable for travel!
Not As Perfect As I Thought

I just bought Jag Jeans for the first time. I'm 5'1", 100 lbs, and the 2P fit perfectly!UPDATE (1/16):So before I wore these jeans, I wanted to wash them. After I did, the waist lost its shape. I also noticed that these aren't really bootcut at all; they're nearly skinny jeans. They were unwearable after just one wash. What a waste of $70!!
