Ok work pants

Tawnya K

I am 5'6" 125lbs with a butt & not much of a waist. I ordered a Size 4 Tall (They don't offer any other size 4 currently) I really need to find good work pants. Like the good ones the boys can buy anywhere... These are the first pair I found that will work, and for that they got 4 stars. They fit ok, will go over my boots, and the waist gap is pretty minimal. Even with the tall size, they aren't pooling that bad, but I suspect the regular would sit nicely at the top of my foot like they should. The slight stretch is good, and the pockets are better sized than most "girl" jeans.I really wish they came in other material options. I just got them so I can't say how long they will last, but they feel like fairly nice jean material, which tells me they won't last as long as I will want them to for the price. Wouldn't we love some of the good heavy canvas type material??I do Demolition, Construction, Machinery repair and dismantling, so I really wanted these to be like what the guys wear. I do all the same activities they do. At least the double front will help with the knees and front wearing out so fast. I'm disappointed in that respect, because they honestly look & feel like a "girly" version.

Perfect for heavy duty

These pants are perfect for a welder. They hold up well, especially with the double front. They do eventually wear out on me to the point where I need a belt. Other than that, I solely stick to these for my work pants. The side pockets are perfect for carrying your tools as well. These are not to light for the winters and not too heavy for the summers. I haven't had a pair malfunction on me yet so I will continue to buy!

Wonderful, comfy, utility jeans

My daughter RAVES about how much she loves her new jeans. She loves the way they fit and all the pockets. Most girls jeans have such tiny pockets. We live on a farm and carry pocket knives as well as other tools to work around the property. These jeans can actually fit those things in the pockets! This is the first pair of girls jeans we've found that can do that.

Sz 16 tall. The overall fit of the pants is pretty great except the hips in regards to the pockets. my pockets look like they are permanently pulled out/open. there is a cold breeze that wafts through these open pockets. it looks horrible, it looks like my pants dont fit even though they are comfortable. i can wear these pants on cold days when ive got a long enough coat to cover the mess around my hips. they are plenty sturdy so i plan on working them to the max all winter. but forget about trying to wear them in warmer weather or spring. ill look like a fool. pardon the unflattering angles in the photos, but lets be honest, we do a lot of unflattering sitting, crouching, and bending at work right?

Absolutely LOVE these!!!

I am 5'2" and 120 lbs, these pants in size 2Short fit me absolutely perfectly! I like the color alot more than I expected too! They aren't thick canvas like most carhartts, they are a more comfortable jean material. They do have the double knee, so when I use them for work I install foam knee pads inside there. Also, the waist fits me snug and does not stretch out when I wear them, no need for a belt!! I will definitely be buying another pair!!

Definitely worth the short length

Purchased 2-short and I usually wearing a 0-2 and am 5’3” 115 for reference. Length is perfect, still a little long which I like. Seems like all my carhartt pants bag a little in the front but still worth buying. Definitely makes your butt look big- if that bothers you I’d avoid. I love these though!

2 Sizes too Small...

Update: Please put your extended sizes on Amazon and offer more styles in extended sizesI just bought these in an 18, which is slightly larger than my real pant size (I’m somewhere in-between 16 and 18). When I tried them on, I couldn’t pull them up all the way! I was expecting a slightly loose fit and what I got felt like I bought jeans that were a size 12 or 14! I barely pulled them over my thighs but there would be no way of getting them to zip shut.I need muscular thighs for my job. Other size 16 and 18 stretch (not wide) jeans fit me just fine. The poor fit reminds me of trying to pull on men’s jeans.Carhartt needs to make cuts for a woman’s shape that are true to size, at least in what’s deemed as a plus size (14+). These jeans also have extremely little stretch.I was so excited to get jeans that could help me at work and in my every day. The promise of so many pockets sounded wonderful. Why then do the jeans not stretch to be able to fill the pockets, and why do they feel so small? I have medium-sized women’s hands (if my gloves are to be believed). If I need, say, a wrench, my phone, and a metal measuring tape while on the job, I feel like none of these pockets would be able to fit those items except the back pockets, which then aren’t deep enough...If you're slightly built and you have little muscle tone, these may work for you, just size way up.I'm so peeved that I keep having this experience with utility jeans, while everyone else leaving a review has had a glowing experience.

Best barn breeches and dressy enough for the office.

I own 4 pairs and use at the farm to clean stalls and as riding breeches. I wear an XL (16/18) tall, because I like to pull them down over my paddock boots. Breathe well in hot, humid conditions. Wish they came in more colors!! Durable, wash and hang to dry overnight.

I’ve worn these for a few weeks and they’ve held up alright. They fit well in the waist and I never have to adjust them during the day. They also don’t show anything or slide down when I’m squatting, bending or lifting which I have to do a lot of. For me personally, the fit isn’t very slim. They are pretty baggy on my legs, and also very long on me (I’m 5’6). I took away one star because I was expecting the denim to be much heavier. I know they aren’t the canvas pants, but I expect to wear through the thighs, and probably other places, in a few months even though they are double front. I was hoping they would be a lot stronger for the price but maybe they are made more for fashion.

These were my favourite style of jeans and I bought a few pairs and wore them pretty much all the time I was out and about. The front pockets are actually deep enough to carry a small wallet and the carpenter pockets are wide and deep enough to store my smartphone. Unfortunately, the weight of the denim used in these jeans are not very rugged and they wore out quickly in the seat area near the inseam. If they lasted a lot longer, I would buy more pairs. Unfortunately the cheap pair of jeans sold at my wholesale club last a heck of a lot longer than these so I've switched over to them.

These pants are great - they come in the tall length and that means I can put them in the dryer without ending up with flood pants. For $40, these are the cheapest women's work pants I have been able to find. They do stretch out after wearing them for a few days, but bounce back after washing. Love the pockets - same as my other Carhartt pants - and the fit. The waist is high enough that tees stay tucked in and you're not flashing your customer when you bend over. Overall, I've been pretty happy with these!

For Carhartt products I was expecting a much more durable product. I was so excited to see these on Amazon and stop wearing their men's pants. Unfortunately didn't seem as durable as the men's as within a month the crotch completely blew on these and were not even remotely salvageable.Hoping Carhartt realizes the market they're missing out on. Women in the trades want a proper fitting , practical and durable work pant. (So sick of womens work pants only being low rise. )

These are the first pair of carhartts that have a waistband that actually fits me! And the pockets are great. They are a little baggy around the front crotch area as compared to the rest of the pants, but overall very practical and good fit.

These are far more flattering than the original fit, a touch larger than what the tag indicates. I’m usually a size 6 everywhere else but the 4 fits and is still a touch roomy.
