'Ankle ' jeans are made for someone that is 5 ft 5 or taller; NOT for petites.

I'm only 5 ft 2, so unfortunately if I hem these jeans, the unique distressing at the bottom would go away. Fit is good overall, with the exception of the LONG length of the alleged 'ankle' legs.
