These are made from medium weight denim with just enough spandex to make them very comfortable.However, the rise isn't quite high enough which causes the waistband to make a 'muffin' top where it pulled in my stomach. When the waistband loosened, the 'muffin' top was no longer a problem.These pants are very comfortable; however, they need to be pulled up regularly. Even at that, I am buying more because there is no binding tightness in my thighs and they are very comfortable on long car trips.The waistband loosened within a few hours. I was surprised when that happened, but it solved the 'muffin top' issue for me.I think if the rise was higher, the pants wouldn't constantly be slipping down and the 'muffin top' issue would never have happened.They have shallow front pockets, a mock zipper & mock back pockets. I would prefer the jeans to have a smooth back rather than the mock back pockets which have no purpose other than looking like pockets.The pants do not have a double seam like regular jeans & therefore look more dressy. I really like the looks of these & they look good on me.They're slightly long (I'm 5' 3"). Because the pant legs are slim, I simply fold them under about 2" or so, and my shoes keep the fold from falling out.I own them in dark shade which is a rich, deep, dark, dark denim blue and am placing an order for the other two shades.One Year WarrantyUPDATE:I now own these in the same size of all 3 shades.The elastic waistband fits differently in each color:The waistband of the dark shade fit tightly, but loosened quickly mid shade fit comfortably from the very beginning & still doesblack shade fit loosely from the beginning & the pants slip down. I took the waistband in, but probably could order a size smaller in this color.

I was kind of hesitant in ordering pants online as I am a plus size woman. clothes never seem to fit when ordered on line but I was desperate as the stores where I live, are limited in pants for plus size gals. I am happy to say that I am very pleased with this item. I am 5'8 and weigh 300 lbs and use a 3x (usually -depending on the brand) in pants. I am a nurse and have found scrub pants in my size to be tight, constricting,not flexable, easily comes apart at the rear seams and the material is thin.I ordered this pants in a 3x and it fit perfectly. The material is soft, thick,stretches when I move and sit and the seams in back are solid. Its dressey enough to look professional. the length is just right and the lack of back pockets is fine as it doesnt add more to my rear. It sits high enough on my waist and the elastic band is wide to help keep the front smooth. I am an extremely pleased customer. I have ordered 3 more. Finally....Very happy customer.....

Out of the box, this pair of pants looks really good! I ordered the woman's petite but it was still too long even when I put on 2"-high ankle booties (I'm 5'2"), and it does not taper at the ankle as shown in the photo - it actually looks like a bootcut with a slight flare (I supposed that's what "lerner leg opening" means). It fits well around the hips and thighs. I would have liked the waist band to be a little higher and tighter because as soon as I sit, the waistband gapes in the back exposing my underwear (it is not an elastic waistband although it does stretch). And then at the front while I'm sitting, the waistband pushes up my tummy which then poofs out - ugh - not a pretty sight! Sorry, this is going back.

I was really pleased with the Chic jeans I purchased, and I was very pleased with the fit, the material and the workmanship. I am a short, plus-size woman, and it is hard to find clothing that fits as well as these jeans do. I will definitely purchase clothing made by Chic again.
Leg at ankle is wide

Others have complained about the size of the leg. It is certainly not as pictured. Just for reference, a jeggin style leg at ankle is approx 9" wide. On these pants the leg is about 18". I would call this a full leg fit.

These are super comfortable and fit well for the most part. However, they are way too "low rise" on the bum, and you won't even realize your undies are showing because the fabric is so light and comfy. I have to wear these with a long shirt. It's too bad, because they really are great otherwise. I bought a blue jean and black pair, and wore them on a trip walking around DC for 3 days. They look chic and stylish enough for museums and restaurants, but are comfortable enough to wear walking for 10 + miles.
More frustrating is the general dissatisfaction with pretty much every brands idea of petite

Though I bought a size that has fit well in other brands, I did find these a little snug in the belly. They do loosen enough with wear, however, that I am willing to keep them and can wear them with a loose over-shirt. More frustrating is the general dissatisfaction with pretty much every brands idea of petite. At just around 5' I have to roll these twice at the hem in order not to walk on them. Sigh!

I ordered the petite size, it seemed I still need to take an inch and a half off. The pants fit to be low waist style (below the belly button). My preference doesn't run in this style, but rather the high waisted (above or at the belly button)

I really like the fit of these jeans. The waist does run a little lower than I'd like, but they are very comfortable around the waist which I find hard to find in a pair of jeans. This will be a favorite this winter to wear with sweaters and boots.

I am so pleased with this product which I received on Fri.28-Dec and prepared an order for another the same day! I was told long ago that when you find something that fits well and is comfortable get two (at least) immediately and this approach has worked well for me in the past. As a (to quote the author Alexander McCall Smith in his No.1 Ladies Detective Agency books) "traditionally built" woman, it is very difficult for me to find clothes that fit well. I was so pleased to just pull then pants on size 20W and to find a PERFECT (I capitalise for emphasis) fit. The material is comfortable, the waist, the length etc. Of course I have no idea about how it will withstand washing but at this point I don't care. I would have liked a seam but that might be old-fashioned nowadays (I will iron them and/or get the laundry to input a seam for me). This is definitely money well spent. All the plus size women out there who could empathise with my clothing issues should get one of these pants. A very satisfied customer.

I ordered an 18 W my normal size . The material is very nice .The Style is great No issue with the Seller . My only issue is that the material is stretch and I was expecting a totally gathered waist not a flat waist band . After wearing the pants for about an hour they loosened up and I spent the rest of the night pulling them up . Next time I would order a smaller size .

... and although these are definitely "Mom Jeans", I don't care, I'm a grandmother, for heaven's sake. So comfortable. I ordered size 22W, but they are too big in the waist, and somewhat so in the legs. My derriere is nicely covered. Next purchase will be size 18. Maybe wide, I'm not yet sure.

I needed new jeans and wanted front pockets; these jeans were just what I needed. They fit well, the length is good and the fabric is good too. I would recommend these to any other `larger`shoppers.

I never know just how clothing fits when ordering online -I'm 5'6" - no need to hem. Was pleased to put these jeans on and they fit perfectly! They washed up great & dryer on low. Nice material that will stand up for a long time. Very nice stretch to them..just enough for comfort. Would buy again.

The pants fit well but the waist was too big. I am not partial to the wide elastic waist. I have ordered another pair of pants from Chic but I saw there was no size chart so I had to guess at my size. Please try to fix this problem.

There is no breaking in period. Just put them on and done. They look good, have a nice shape. I like the elastic waist since I do have a pooch. And the s ize is perfect I am a 22 petite (short), usually hard to find and hard to fit properly. I am sold and will be buying two more pairs.

They fit good. I was looking for Lee Riders that I had been buying as my weight was going down. Of course they aren't available anymore. These jeans are close in fit. They don't have back pockets which is my only complaint.

The ad said these pants had âa leaner leg openingâ, which I assumed to mean they were narrower. The legs were huge and floppy. I returned them. The return was simple, and fast.

These were for my mother (her second pair because she wanted more than one colour) she loves them. Very comfortable, look great! She usually wears a 3x at Wal-Mart so we got a 3x and they fit perfectly.

Es difÃcil comprar jeans por el corte y el tipo de tela. Estos jeans comprados sin probarlos antes me quedaron bien y la tela y confección son de buena calidad
