NYDJ's have lost the quality they used to have

I ordered and received these jeans. I have been wearing NYDJ's for years and love them. Not so with the new pair I purchased. Very disappointed in the quality. Seem cheaply made. Also the dye shifts from light navy to dark navy. The dark navy begins at crotch level and moves down. My husband even commented that it looked like I had wet myself.Oh dear! I ordered navy blue jeans. I want to return and can, but the hassle of returning them isn't appealing to me.I decided to keep them and wear them just for everyday stay at home jeans. If I had to bet, I'd bet they were made in China.

I have been wearing NYDJ since they were "Not Your Daughter's Jean" precisely because of the flattering fit. But the last few times I ordered---even from the NYDJ website---the legs were about 2-2.5 inches too long. So I studied up, found the Sheri jeans which seem to have a shorter inseam, and now they are too big in the waist and I have to hitch them up all the time which is SO annoying. Unfortunately, after the initial "try-on" to make sure the length was good, I threw them int he washer and tossed the packaging. It wasn't until I wore them a full day that I realized how they don't fit comfortably. So sad when a once quality product goes to heck in a handbasket. But I must say the seller shipped quickly and packaging was good---not his/her fault!
Seller sent me wrong size

The previous order was perfect until I spilled bleach on them. I reordered the same thing, but a different seller, and got a pair a size larger than I ordered and the tag was cut out. I did not notice a big size difference until after I had worn them, so I have already worn them once, so can't send them back now.

I DO NOT like these jeans! Ladies the fit is off and they certainly don't feel like the other NYDJ items I have which are pants and they fit great. One pair of NYDJ pants I have were purchased at tjmaxx and the other pair were purchased at Burlington. These pants are just awful. I am 5'4 and these jeans are too short and again, the fit is off. Looks nothing like the picture. Will not purchase from this seller again :( :(

NYDJ is my favorite brand for casual wear. This shade is hard to find so I was happy that it was available in my size and fits well. The fabric is soft with just enough stretch. I usually take my regular size even though a size down is recommended by the company. They fit perfectly and the length is as shown in the photo (I'm 5'4", size 6).

I have been buying these pants for 10 years. They always fit perfectly for me. The sizes run large, so I buy a 14 whereas I usually wear a 16 or sometimes even an 18. I like the slim, snug fit, which is more flattering than a loose or baggy fit. They are snug but not tight at the waist, so they cinch in some of the fat I carry around the middle, which is nice, and not at all uncomfortable. I do wish the pants were available in a Tall (I am 5â9â), but they are satisfactory in length.

Wearing them right now. Almost my favorite pants. Unlike some stretchy material pants, these don't get stretch fatigue during wear and start to slip down. They stay put.
Beautiful, Soft

Great fit, color, and style. The only downside is the fabric. For MY taste, they were too soft. I prefer jeans to be more sturdy. Iâll wear leggings if I want soft. But if thatâs you, these are great. The color is beautiful. Iâm 5â4/30 inseam, they were a smidge long-no big deal. The size was right. I got a zero as thatâs my NYDJ size. I returned these and got a light colored jean in another brand with sturdier fabric.
