I ended up buying 2 pairs - you can't beat the price! Had to wash them 5+ times as the dye bled, but after using Shout Color Catcher in the wash, all is good. They're a little shorter than most NYDJ Ankle Jeans, but I like them a lot!

The fabric is unbelievably comfortable. Ordered a size down to get a sleeker fit. Beautiful fabric, light weight. Looks great dressed up or down.
Runs larger and shorter than other NYDJ

I'm a huge fan of NYDJ and have many pairs/styles. This particular style runs larger and shorter than any of my other NYDJ. Granted, I am 6' tall and used to most ankle jeans hitting above my ankle, but the length seems even shorter than most. The fit feels unusually sloppy in the waist, hips, and butt. I don't feel the hug or control that I usually enjoy from NYDJ. However, the black material on these feels quite luxurious with a nice weight & stretch. They pull on easily and look very sleek with an untucked blouse because there is no zipper or buttons to protrude outward. I will definitely size down and these should work out fine but I do wish they were not so short.
