Really good at hiding a poochy tummy. No need for a belt. It holds it's shape right at the waist, not low cut. It even flatters the thighs without feeling squeezed like a sausage. VERY comfortable overall. Bought one pair, had to buy a second in a different color. Will buy a third. Size 10, 5' 1" 155lb. I purchased regular length (because petite was not available) and had them hemmed 2 inches. So end of pant legs sits half inch above ground when wearing 2 inch boots. Both jeans very consistent in measurements.

I've purchased these in blue before and they fit well, hug but not tight, comfortable and presentable to wear to work. I thought I'd give myself a little variety by ordering the light blue instead, but these aren't just a faded/light blue - they have a few spots that are threadbare and look too sloppy for even a casual workplace. They're still comfortable and I'll wear them at home but not what I was hoping for.

I only buy democracy brand jeans now. Once you own one pair you have to have more ! The elastic band is comfortable and the jeans are so cute. Love them !

Best fitting jeans ever! I am a mature 57 year old woman and these jeans fit me so well. I have 3 pair now and will be getting rid of the others I have.
