Not my favorite NYDJ jeans. :(

These are a tad loose on me, which I blame the material for. I own other pairs of NYDJ jeans in the same size that are a more substantial material and fit much better. This pair is thin and light weight, which is normally not troubling, but I've noticed that threads get pulled much more obviously and frequently with this pair in comparison to my other NYDJ pants.

Right after the first washing, the fabric started falling apart (pilling, showing "wear" though they hadn't even been worn). Not the best Not Your Daughter's...

I thought I was buying black jeans & that's what they looked like online & when they arrived, but then I noticed fingertips and ends of fingernails turning blue -- so guess what, they're very dark blue-black. By the time I noticed fingertips, my legs had faint blue tinge & blue rubbed off in my white tee shirt. I've now washed them six times and they're still bleeding blue into the wash and rinse water. Makes me wonder if they're counterfeit: would NYDJ have produced something from which the fabric dye bleeds endlessly? Or, is this normal for blue jeans, which I never buy (except here, in error). Fit is OK.
WAY too stretchy. NO recovery.

Jeans started out great. After a short wear they stretched so large! At first they stretched so far I could take them off without unzipping! Then they stretched until they fell off. There is NO recovery in this pair of jeans.
Very Long

I am an absolute fan of NYDJ, but these jeans were very long on me for some reason. I went back to look at my order and I did not request tall and the tag does not say they should be long. Going to chalk this up to the style and probably go buy them at the brick and mortar store next time so I can avoid the hassle of a return.
Doesn't have real pockets - fingertip pockets only

I have always loved the fit of the Marilyn Straight Leg jeans and still do. But I removed a star because it only has fingertip pockets up front-- useless. Women want real pockets!
Comfortable as Pajamas

I don't know how they do it but I'm so impressed with the comfort of these jeans. They do tend to run large, and it even tells you to order one size smaller than the size you usually wear. My problem is I'm never sure if I'm a 6 or a 4, so I went ahead and ordered the 4. And of course I could have and probably should have been in a 2. But, they are just a little loose, mostly around the waist and butt area, so I'm going to keep them anyway. They look great and feel even better than they look. One word of caution: The dye in the jeans has a tendency to rub off a little on other fabrics the first one or two times you wear them. Just be cautious about this until you've washed them a couple of times.

I. Love. These. They suggest buying a size or two smaller than you'd normally wear and they mean it. I purchased them in my normal size 10 and after a few washes/wears they're really loose, whereas my size 8s are very comfy.

Nice comfortable cut/fit, but super thin stretchy denim that starts wearing out after three washes. More like cheap leggings than jeans. The front of the thighs are already 'fuzzy', and for the money I expected a bit more quality.
