Cute in an old lady way

I'm 58 years old and have worn these over my night gowns for years. I just can't handle wrap robes. I come undone for some reason. This is sewn very, very well. It is cute, but in a days gone by way. I laughed when I put it on. It reminded me of something my Mother would have bought me as a teenager. I wasn't sure if I should get a small or medium. I'm a small person, but as I'm getting older, I sometimes need a medium. This is VERY generous. I should have gotten a small. It still does the job though and looks cute. It's made like iron out of charming material, so it will probably outlive me!

Looks great, is easy-care, lightweight, cool and comfy - perfect for hot southwest weather from spring till fall. Worn over a nightie I can go outside to wheel my trash can out to the curb or feed the cats on the front deck and feel that I'm covered and look presentable. Wearing these cool garments means lower power bills in the summer too - I find a fan keeps me comfortable most of the time - I rarely turn on the air conditioner any more. Also - I can mow the lawn and work in the garden knowing if a neighbor sticks their head over the fence I'll look neat and be totally covered. No more trying to run inside so I won't be seen in my clinging knit nightie - ahhh! FYI: You can see through them if there's backlight and you're not wearing anything underneath. One reviewer said this duster doesn't have pockets - it DOES have two side pockets - they just aren't front patch pockets like some of the other styles have.
Cool and Crisp House Dress

My mom (91) likes cool and crisp looking things. When she's not feeling well or when her arthritis is acting up, she has difficulty getting into shirts and pants but still wants to look crisp and put together when she stays in her apartment. This duster does the trick. It's a nice length (below the knees), doesn't gap at the neck (provides modesty), and keeps it's crisp look WITHOUT having to be ironed. The blue stripes are very cool looking for the summer and the embroidered flowers around the neck are cheery and uplifting. Very nice.
National seersucker house coat.

The National seersucker house coat is well made, embroidery is lovely, and the color is great. I bought the house coat for my mother who is in a nursing home. She has received many compliments about the texture, color and embroidery on the house coat. I will definitely buy more when need to do so. Yes, I recommend this product.
Nice lightweight robe

I purchased this robe for my mom, as she wanted something lighter to wear during the summer months. It's a really pretty, feminine robe, and it covers well. The length is perfect, and it's super easy for her to get on and off since there are no buttons or zippers for her to deal with. She is in her 80's, so I didn't want her to have to fuss too much with wearing it. Seersucker is perfect for hot summer days in Florida, and she is very pleased with this robe. It's perfect for her to wear while sitting on her porch drinking her morning coffee.

This was purchased as a gift. The recipient has truly enjoyed wearing it. It washes so nicely, with no wrinkles. The colors are so feminine, too. It is easy to get on and off and roomy enough to really be comfortable. The delivery was very prompt.

I was looking for clothing options for my elderly mother to be more comfortable in the summer heat. I was happy to find this house coat ~ lightweight but substantial (not flimsy), snap closures (so much easier for her than buttons), no-ironing required (yay), and pretty embroidered detail. It's a generous-sized medium. My previous experience with the National Clothing brand has been positive but when the tag says 'made in China', my expectations usually drop a notch or two. Certainly not the case here! The construction, seam alignment, stitching, embroidery....all perfection. It became something of a game to try and find anything amiss but I lost. Not even a loose thread! And it has side pockets. Couldn't be happier. :)

Love it! Washes beautifully. Fits well. I like things roomy, so I got large. Could have a medium but this fits great. Did not shrink, looks great with my pink slippers. National is hard to beat for quality. Sorry it isn't Prime, but still a great value. Will buy more from this company.
