Love this robe!

I absolutely love this robe. It's medium weight - not too heavy (which can become hot) and not at all flimsy. It is also pretty soft for terrycloth. I purchased the Small/Medium in Ivory and I will warn you that it runs quite large - the sleeves came down to the tips of my fingers and the hem reached my ankles. I am only 5' 2" so I washed it on hot and dried it in a hot dryer. This did the trick -- the sleeves shrunk a good two-three inches, as did the length. I like my robes a bit big so this is now the prefect size. It also softened up considerably after washing and drying. If you don't want it to shrink you might need to hang dry it, otherwise you might want to go with a larger size if you can. I purchased the natural Ivory so I can't comment on how well the color holds up to washing, but I can tell you their colored organic towels faded pretty fast if this is any indication. The robe is a little more ivory and not as white as the picture depicts.As mentioned, I also have organic Turkish cotton towels made by this manufacturer which are pretty light weight and flimsy, but this robe is made much better. The added bonus is TowleSelection Organic Turkish Cotton products are one of the few sellers on Amazon who are GOTS certified. Without GOTS you have no way to verify you are really getting organic cotton. Some other towels and robes advertised as "organic" are really Oeko-Tex® and ISO 9001 Certified but this is no guarantee the cotton is organically grown -- only that they meet the Oeko-Tex standards for their level of acceptable detectable pesticides. Cotton is one of THE most heavily sprayed crop in the world (might even be #1) so getting true organic cotton is the only way of protect yourself, your family, the crop workers, and the environment.Update 4-2017My 12 year old grandson wanted a robe but I was unable to find any organic robes for kids or teens - on Amazon or anywhere including PBTeens. It seems the organic robe industry only caters to adults and babies. How sad. Anyway, I finally had him try on my robe which has already been shrunk by washing and heat-drying and it fits him with the sleeves rolled up. It reaches his ankles but he likes it this way - more cuddly, plus he's in a growth spurt so it should last him a couple of years. I was placing the new order for this robe -- again in ivory since I don't trust the color not to fade as my turquoise towels did from this seller, and my grandson likes the ivory which he thinks looks like a white ninja robe, :-) and I noticed the price is $12 lower than when I purchased it last winter (currently at $52.99). My suggestion is to watch the pricing as it is typical of Amazon sellers to routinely raise and lower prices (perhaps depending on availability - or maybe it's a seasonal thing). ;-)

This robe is thick like a fancy towel, without being to bulky. The color is a very nice blue. I bought this to wear after my shower as I squeegee the water off the glass shower stall. The armholes are large enough so that it is easy to put on when wet. I no longer rush because I'm cold. It did shed a little when I washed it, but I feel that is to be expected.
Good weight and quality - just too big for me and a smaller size wasn't offered.

I guess when you're a petite small, you should know better than to buy a product listed as small/medium, but there wasn't a choice for an extra small/small. And I wanted organic cotton and a light color, and a bathrobe not made in China so I got what I paid for. My choice.

It is a very nice robe the only down fall for me is that it is pretty heavy.

This is a very soft and nice organic cotton robe, and lovely color. I only wish it was somewhat shorter in length, and the sleeves are too long also. I am 5'4" and it is designed for a tall individual.
