This coat gown is generous in fit, soft, washes up beautifully and comes out of the dryer with no wrinkles and packs easily. I would suggest going down one size if you are between 1x and 2x. The color is exactly the way the photo shows and is a deep hot pink color. I bought the matching nightgown as well and the same can be said about it as the Petals robe. It is comfortable enough to wear around the house and especially when visiting friends and you want something to throw on quickly to make those bathroom trips in the middle of the night or answer the door. The style is rather matronly, and is suitable for mixed company or when you need something simple to wear while getting coffee in the morning. I find them both to be very comfortable and soft, although a bit slippery.

I just received this with the nightgown for Christmas. I want it for a lighter robe for the spring/summer. I did order one size down as suggested by another reviewer and am very happy with the size I received. The robe feels nice and silky and is good quality. The only complaint I have is that there is only one hip pocket on the right side. It seems really awkward to me. If they put in one pocket, why not add another on the other side?

I decided this robe was not worth the price I paid for it and returned it. Actually, I didn't even open it. I did feel of the material and it felt very nice. There were two reasons for my deciding it was not worth the price. #1 I don't wear Summer robes. It made no sense to spend money on something I may have little to no use for. #2 I was concerned that I would look like a little old lady in it! Maybe I am approaching being one, but I don't want to push it! It just reminded me of my grandmothers, dear as they both were, and even though I am a grandma now, I don't want to look like them yet!

Got this robe to match a couple of nightgowns in this color way. It's very comfortable, true to size, and washes well. I like the buttons, no need to fiddle with a belt; you button it and it stays closed. Great purchase, especially if you can catch it on sale. It's handy for overnight trips, and when I have guests at home in the morning.

Although this runs a tad large at least the sleeves and robe are long enough to cover the whole body. I wish it had snaps instead of the small buttons and I am thinking of replacing them because they are small and slick so is hard to button up or unbutton. It washes very nicely and light weight enough to wear from Spring through the Fall. There is only one pocket though on the right side - would be better to have them on both sides.

I'm 30 years old and a little embarrassed to admit my love of old lady robes. My husband would burn them all (I probably have 10-15) but I've had a love of them passed down from my mother, who is a "robe hoarder" as well. I'm constantly searching for a TRUE FLOOR LENGTH robe to no avail. After reading several+ reviews on this robe, I thought it might finally be the one. Many women who claimed to be "tall" said that this robe hit them on the top of their feet. I'm here to tell you, this is just not true. I'm 5' 5 1/2" tall and about 150lbs. When I am standing barefoot on wood floors with this robe on, the bottom of the robe is 6 1/2" from the floor, I measured! All this leaves me with is cold ankles and calves. Ugh!As for the fabric, I was looking for something more lightweight as it's starting to warm up a bit here in the Carolinas. Thought this one fit the bill but alas, it is the most synthetic feeling fabric ever. Think cheap Halloween outfits that you would buy for like $20. The length of the sleeves hits right at the wrist. You ABSOLUTELY would have to wear something under this robe. I kept seeing the word "opaque" being used to describe the fabric in reviews. That would only be true if there is zero sunlight in the house. You can definitely see what you are wearing underneath but MORE IMPORTANTLY, you can definitely see what you AREN'T wearing underneath.I ordered the peach and it was true to the color and very pretty. That's really the only positive thing I have to say about the robe. On to the next one!

I am 5' 9" and this is the right length for me. I prefer my long nightgowns to have a matching robe. This paired with the nightgown is very attractive. When I received it my husband said "That is very pretty" so it must be! I have ordered red and black as well.

A really pretty housecoat with scalloped flowers on the upper edge on the front. It is nylon, so slightly sheer, but lightweight and comfortable. I am short, so this was long on me, but not too long.

This is a lovely lightweight robe. It fits beautifully. I had been waiting for the -price to drop; when it did I made the order. The Shadowline sleepwear is very feminine and washes and dries very well. The Shadowline sleepwear is also extremely durable. I expect to be wearing this robe for many years to come and it will probably always look brand-new. I love it.

color is a little brighter then depicted in picture however it's ok. A little too long however not bad and it is the size as marked more or less. Thanks for the super fast shipment. Matches the night gown just fine. this is the perfect fabric for those hot summer nights or mornings. Along with the night gown it provide good coverage since I like my legs fully covered with a gown that goes too the ground. Hope they make something similar in a warmer winter weight.

I thought that the gown is for old ladies and that is not how it was perceived on the site. People said it was lovely fabric d a beautiful gown NOT well maybe if you are 100. The fabric is very slippery and will snag on everything . Not for the young at heart or anyone that has animals or kids.

Love this brand of robe and long nightgown! Fits well and is well made! Love the hefty tricot fabric too. Not that cheap see through stuff, but substantial. Perfect for year round wear! Great sizing! I ordered up a size for more comfort but you do not need to do so!
