The picture makes it look as though the robe comes above the knee. You'd have to be at least 7 feet tall for that to be the case. I'm 5'3" at the hem comes almost to my ankles. This length situation wasn't mentioned in the reviews that were written when I ordered it, but I knew that when text & picture differed, the text usually was correct.Another problem with the ad is that it says there are 2 pockets. Instead it's one big pocket. I'm ok with that, but because these robes are designed for quite tall women, the pocket is placed low. I can't reach the bottom of the pocket when I'm standing up, so it'd be hard to find small items in it. The two labels fastened to the neck loop in back are very uncomfortable. It was difficult to cut them out without cutting any fleece. They were sewed with thread that could have doubled as fishing line, and the neck opening should be larger,I really liked the hood, as it adjusts like a hoodie. The fabric is very soft and warm.

The picture of this item is NOT what you receive. I bought this for my daughter who is only 4'6 hoping it would be full-length for her. It is FULL-LENGTH for any adult woman - not at all as pictured, unless the model is over 7 feet tall. I'm 5'6 and it reaches past my ankles.Other than that, quality seems good but I haven't examined it much as I'm sending it back and reporting the deceptive photo to Amazon.DO NOT PURCHASE unless you want a gown that hits your toes.UPDATE : ended up keeping this for myself because it is so soft and warm. It was about a foot too long for my daughter. Is so warm that I cannot sleep in it (you could literally turn your heat off and stay warm). I have to put on thinner pajamas to sleep in. However, a full length gown was not even an option when I ordered and STILL isn't. After so many complaints, you would think the seller would correct the photo. Other than that, the quality is great and the material is super soft. So I changed from one star to 2 because of that but be aware you are going to receive a LONG gown and not what's the picture shows. Do NOT size up - I did and it's pretty big on me but works. I would give this 5 stars if it was what I actually ordered. Be aware that the sleeves are very long (and wide at the end) - I'm 5'6 and they come to my fingertips so I have to keep them rolled up. If you DO want a full-length gown, it's AWESOME -. But I expect to receive what I ordered.
Deceptive and unclear listing

The listing needs to be pulled or fixed, as you do NOT know what product you are going to get. I ordered the black and it is ankle length (I am 5'11"), I didn't WANT floor-length. Can I cut 2' off of it and hem it? Yes, but not at this price.Read through the reviews and answered questions - some people get knee length and some people get floor length, apparently there is no way to know what you are going to get in advance. This also seems to be a problem with other listings from this brand/seller.Returning (with great irritation) for a refund.

The picture is very misleading. This thing goes almost to the floor on me and I am 5'4". I gave it five stars still because its super soft. plushie, and freaking warm! I love how I am swaddled in this thing when I wear. And the extra length is actually great, because I can tuck my legs into it! If you like burritoing yourself in a blanket this thing is deff worth it!

I purchased this in purple. It is about 3 inches above my ankles. There is a roomy hood and a kangaroo pocket. Love kangaroo pockets! This robe is super soft and warm. I loved it so much I went back and bought two other colors. So I have been virtually living in these robes since I got them. And yes, I would consider this a robe. I think, for me at least, it would be too hot to sleep in. I have purchased at least three or four other Alexander Del Rossa robes and have been pleased with all of them.It is puzzling why all the pictures of these garments show them as short. They are not. Rest assured this is long and will keep your legs warm.
I kept it because it alot of trouble driving 20 miles to print @UPS ad I don't have a printer and I needed a robe in winter but it not as comfortable as it would have been if it was knee

I loved these but they were much bigger and longer than I needed. They are perfect for those who live in cold climates. They were also very good quality.

It arrived earlier than expected and looks like the photos, but like other reviewers mentioned, it's a lot longer than it looks on the model.Bought this for my 5'4 mother and it does reach her ankles but she loves the length and the super soft fleece.I originally had planned on cutting off the excess fabric at the bottom to make her a matching pillowcase but she adores her floor length nightgown so all's good.
