Epic fail

The color is vibrant and really pretty, the design is well done, the size is a little on the small side, but not too bad. The real problem is the cuts in the material all across the back of the robe. There are 8 different places where the material has been cut through. I didn't pay enough for the item to worry with all the hassle of returning it and trying to get another, I will simply not buy the others I had planned to purchase if this one worked out well. It's a shame, I really loved the color and feel of the material.Update: Since I first reviewed the product I have checked it over closer and discovered that the cuts are everywhere. Back, front and sleeves, it's cut all over the whole garment. I thought I might be able to repair the ones in the back of the robe, but with the number and placement of the cuts it isn't possible. It's completely worthless, not repairable at all. In the trash it goes, Didn't get to wear it even once.
Colors not true to what was delivered.

Ordered 6 of these for bridesmaids. Picture online shows a deep violet. When delivered only one was deep violet the 5 others are light lilac. Will not all match unhappy.

I've been looking for a robe for awhile, and did quite a bit of research on amazon, looking for the best reviews etc. This kimono is PERFECT.I ordered the sapphire colour, in a MED. (I usually wear s/m tops and 3-5 shorts)It is not too short and not too long, I have long legs and often find it hard to get the correct size.There is an inside tie as well as a removable sash/tie on the outside to secure. It also has pockets on both sides, deep enough to carry a plus size phone.The colour is beautiful and bright (sapphire/blue) with a pretty peacock pattern. Altogether, the kimono is classy enough to be able to wear in front of family and friends, but also sexy enough to wear with confidence in front of your S.O. (my husband loves it!)I've bought one as a gift and recommend it to my friends! You will not regret this purchase!
I'm not kidding, buy 1 size bigger.

This is a pretty robe with the usual satin fabric and attached internal tie and outer sash through belt loops. This robe fits through the shoulders and arms well but there is nowhere near enough fabric through the body to have the robe close over the top of your legs. It was a strange fit. I almost never have to size up so I ordered my usual size medium (for reference I'm 5'1", weigh 148lbs, and wear a 32DDD in bras) and I should have tried it in a large...it still would have looked okay baggy in the top. Had to return.

I ordered this as a gift for my friend that just came out of surgery for breast cancer. I didn't look at it before I gave it to her. She loved the color but it didn't have pockets! I am very disappointed.

Love it.. minus the size issue.Fits great on top.. but won't even come close to closing around my hips/legs.Will be returning.

I read a lot of the reviews, and to be safe I ordered a size L. I'm 5'3, 135lbs and it fit's just great, if not on the bigger side. I think a medium would have been just fine, but it's meant to be comfy so I'm happy with what I have. The fabric is very nice, I was expecting it to feel a lot "cheaper." It doesn't look too wrinkly and the design and color are stunning.
