When I recieved the bathrobe it was nice and fluffy and appeared to be well made. The material is fairly thick and seems to be a decent weave. When I put it on I pretty much swam in it. It was large (well I did buy a size Large so no suprise). After washing it (because I wore it all the time and got it dirty) it shrank. For me this was a good thing. It fits me quite nicely now. So to give some perspective: I am 5' 9 1/2", my legs from hip to floor are 44", my arms from armpit to wrist are 22". After shrinking, the robe goes to just past mid calf and the sleeves drape down to my knuckes (I like the extra length). I washed it a second time (spiled chocolate protein powder on it) and it did not shrink any further. The stiching is fine and the pockets are holding up well. I really like the hood for going out in the morning when I let the dog out. It keeps me warm on the chilly mornings. Oh, and the chocolate washed out just fine.

I received my fancy new hooded Turkish Cotten bath robe in a timely manner, as usual, from my all time favorite retailer Amazon.com the other day. I could hardly restrain my enthusiasm to take my first shower with it, as I waited through a couple of complete washes and drys.I wanted things to go so perfectly so I could give what was bound to be my new all time favorite bathrobe a resounding review as another satisfied customer.I fully expected to shortly be reporting back in my Amazon review to all those other reviewers and nay-sayers about how all you need to do is give a robe like this a couple of washes and drys in cloths dryer with a good lint filter.All those people reporting about lint problems... I mean lint, of all things... really? Come on people, I thought. A reasonable person would expect even the best of bath robes to have lint to get rid of through the first couple of washes or so.Eight washes, and eight drys later, I can not believe lint is still coming from the robe in great quantities. After two days into what we might as well give a name to now; I mean, this is turning into a pretty big deal; "the 2016 Bathrobe Ordeal," or how about "World Robe III."I finally decided to go ahead and use it. Maybe the robe had other redeeming qualities worth reporting. Nope. It's too light, thin, and not at all absorbent to qualify as a bath robe, shower robe, pool or spa robe. Yep... I got a new name too... "Fuzz Body."So THIS is Turkish Cotton. I can't wait to buy something else made out of this stuff; not.
Don't Buy The Orchid!

I originally purchased this for my daughter in the orchid ( purple ) color. I washed it right away and the color came out blotchy and uneven. Sent it back and ordered the white one. My daughter loves it! Velour on the outside and terry on the inside. Very absorbent and warm. Aside from the dye washing out of the purple one, this is a very nice robe. My daughter is very thin, about 5"1. I got her the small. It comes down to her ankles, and is a little big in the shoulders and long in the sleeve, but it will give her room to grow, and it really isn't a problem. I recommend the white robe, but cannot recommend anything in color.

I bought the small and large sizes in this robe since my family members all liked my long, thick, blue Victoria Secrets terry robe I purchased 20 years ago. I use that one more as a house robe. Since both my hubby and stepson come out of the shower sporting terry towels around their waist, I was concerned for a potential slippage of towel one day and decided they needed their own bathrobes. And then there is the teen daughter who hogs the bathroom, too...needed a way to get her out of there in a timely manner without excuses to stay longer. So for Christmas, I purchased four of these robes to be left in and returned to the bathroom so no one will come out of the bathroom with just a towel! To designate which towel belongs to which person, I also purchased four unique Star Wars patches and sewed velcro to the patches and robe sleeves. Now, my family members are properly departing the bathroom with their unique robes...and my stepson specifically loves coming out wearing his and making Jedi references! Truly, he'd look like a young Jedi with the hood up except the robe is white instead brown! And I got him a large while anticipating a teen growth spurt from his small size any day now...so the robe is a lot longer on him right now being a large. Just beware it will shrink a little in the wash/dry and that the hood is cut small even on the large sizes. Still the hood is a nice feature to sop up some of the water off the head. The robes are of decent quality for the price and has met a necessity as well as being fun!

Soft and comfortable robe, not to heavy to wear but thick enough to keep warm. The hood is roomy and comfortable when sitting. - It does not pull down on back when I sit down with the hood up. - I love the rich color, I purchased purple. The length is good for me, mid calf. I am 5'6" and usually wear size 14 pants. I would recommend this robe to others.

This robe was a surprise gift for a close friend of mine. She Loved it! I nailed it on the fit and that's because this product fit was uber consistent with NA design fit for women. Lovely true color. Arrived quickly. Would purchase again.

I love this robe, it's warm, cozy and comfortable. I wanted one that was all cotton, long and had a hood. My dog (bless his heart) chewed my last one and left a hole around the hood and I happily ordered another one. A little more than I wanted to spend, but much nicer than any I can find in the stores.

This product is just as described and I am not disappointed I bought this. I bought this as a christmas gift for my wife and she totally enjoys every minute she is in it. It is soft, absorbs the water well and is great quality. The only thing I wish could have been done was getting her name embroidered but hey you can't have it all. Great value as compared to other places I've looked online and just a great product. Think I would get one for myself and I would definitely encourage others to get one. Really really great product.
