Perfect for dorm life

I bought this towel as a gift to a dorm student. I figured she'd need something to secure around her in her dorm room while she's brushing her teeth, drying her hair etc to get ready for the day. The Velcro seems strong enough to hold for a while and the elastic back helps to ensure a snug fit (no wardrobe malfunctions!).

No complaints here in that regard.⧠What Do I Like About This Wrap:⪠The size. The wrap is a perfect fit for me. At the middle of the top edge, there's a elastic section which helps customize the fit. I imagine that without this elastic section, the fit would be uncomfortable since the velcro pieces are not designed to provide any flex. At 5'4", it comes down to about mid-knee. When the velcro pieces are connected to exact lengths, there's about an 8 to 10 inch overlap of fabric - so I do not have any worries about accidental exposure.⪠The weight. It nice and light-weight so it doesn't bog down my gym bag in terms of weight or volume.⧠Why Did I Give 4 Stars?⪠I originally clicked 3 stars, but took a moment to reflect on what it would have taken to get 4 Stars. Since there's nothing about this wrap that I would change, I personally could not justify less than 4 Stars!

I'm 5'5", 150 lbs., a solid size 12. This would need to be 2-3" longer and 6-8" wider to fit comfortably. I can adjust the velcro to make it fit more loosely, but that results in less overlap of the two sides, which results in the front gap flying open, which defeats the whole purpose of the wrap. I wish they would make these in real sizes; the dreaded "one size" seems to accommodate a very limited subset of women.
Lightweight, great for gym bag

Lightweight and compact. Great for gym bag. Falls to the knee which I love. I am a size 10 and this fits me verfy well much like the photo. If you are heavy set or very large busted this wrap will be small and coverage will be minimal. This wrap is not a heavy or plush cotton that you would use like a towel, it is primarily used a wrap for coverage after lightly towel drying. Perfect for what I use it for.

The fabric is not very soft but it washed and dried well. When I make it fit comfortably the part of the velcro is exposed and it is not as much coverage as I would have liked, however, I am a 38 bust so perhaps it would be perfect for size 36 or lower.

Nice cotton and good length but runs very small compared to other wraps. Velcro area (front and back) was way too scratchy. I recycled and bought another product with snaps that works perfectly for me.

The item shrunk into a skirt length after washing one time as instructed before wearing.
